Saint Xavier (2-1) will travel to Elder (OH) (3-1) after having an open week. Elder (OH) is coming off a 24-17 loss to St. Edward (OH). Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

Last year, Elder beat St. X 31-21.

St. X struggled to get the running game going against Male and Elder is a good defensive team so they will need to get production from their stable of receivers and the arm of QB Mason Trimble.

Elder likes to pass the ball and will test the St. X secondary but I think Male has better skill guys than Elder so the St. X defense can maybe hold Elder to less than the 31 points they gave up last year.

St. X should be well rested coming off the open week and Elder had to travel 4 hrs to Cleveland plus one less day of recovery and preparation, so this looks like should be another competitive game in the series. Does St. X come back to Kentucky with a win or does Elder keep their winning streak against St. X going?

Good Luck to St X!  Hope you guys pull that one out!

I agree good luck St. X.  Like to see another Ohio team go down by a Kentucky team!

I was glad to see St. Edward beat Elder this past weekend.

Watched Elder for the majority of their game against St. Edward and I came away really impressed.

X will have their work cut out for them but I do think they are capable. As always, rooting for Kentucky High School Football!

I already bought my ticket and will be there. The Pit is a good place to watch a game.

As soon as you pass Mt. Zion heading north wave to me outside your drivers side window.  We will be slighting over a mile from each other, at least as the crow flies.

Outside of Trinity, Kentucky hasn't fared well against the vaunted GCL South - Elder, Moeller, St X, and LaSalle.

The Rocks are 16-11 against them this century, but X is 4-16 since 2000 and Highlands is 4-16 all-time.

Poor CovCath is 3-29. I quit counting after a while because the gore was more than my stomach could handle, but I composed myself and finished the job.
