Paris at Bellevue predictions
Paris lost to Mason Co. 27-7.

Bellevue 13 Newport 6
The comments by APNW, may lead people to think that Newport is still the better of the two teams (I know that is not what was said, but could be interpreted that way). Bellevue outplayed Newport. Could it be the interceptions were caused by good pressure and good coverage?

Dayton 21 Holmes 19
Congrats to Dayton and Coach Deaton on his first W. I though Holmes would be able to use speed against the Devils, but was wrong. I was really impressed with the speed of the Dayton and Brummett (sp?) runs the ball hard.

Bellevue at Newport in the Newport Bowl
I look for the huge Newport line to dominate Bellevue's D. If Arkansas is the QB, it will be tough to contain him. Great athlete.

Holmes at Dayton Predictions
I have to go with the large school over the small school in this one.

Bragging Rights on The River!
For sure, all these teams are very evenly matched. Last years games were all close and each squad returns alot. They may not be the "marquee" matchups that some fans look for, but as far as intensity and passion you wont find many better games.

Broken Arm during 1st day of contact for Bluto, Jr.
I hope he recovers quickly with side effects. But I am curious, I thought that full contact is not allowed until full pads on Aug. 1. Can anybody elaborate?

Longest Losing Streaks
I really does become a culture. I have seen it carry over from the local pee-wee team. They lose on a regular basis so when they get to high school, it is not such a big deal to lose.

Bellevue's bermuda
I saw it last week too. It was a mess. I find it hard to believe that they will be able to use this field. What are thier options? What do the BGP Bermuda experts think about this?

Biggest Rivalries
I agree. With many less talented teams, so much rides on the mental part of the game. Bellevue, Dayton and Ludlow may be fired up at the start of the game, but as soon as one play goes against them, that is sometimes enough for them to start saying "here we go again". With teams such as Beechwood and NCC who more often than not, they do not have to rely on mental toughness to beat less talented teams

Who will Newports next coach be
OUCH
-
NKY Stadiums
Holy Cross received some money from the Bengals. But that was to upgrade their practice facility. They play their home games at Holmes.

Who will Newports next coach be
Paul would be better suited an O-coordinator or just a QB coach. He couldnt last at Bellevue or Etown. What could he do differently to do well at Newport?
-
Bellevue's bermuda
It only floods once every three or four years. Still too risky for turf.

Bellevue JV football
BGB, Gamer wasnt talking about the new bermuda. That is in a different thread. He was refering to your typo.

2007 Bellevue
Buckler is not the new Adams. No where near as fast. Tough little kid though.

Who said it #2?
That sounds like a Tom Stellman quote, when/has Conner ever played Bwood?

girls slow pitch
The slow pitch schools are trying their best to keep their sport alive. The schools have even gone so far as to say that they will raise the money themselves, pay the insurance and have their own KY state championship tourney. The catch is that the trophy will not have KHSAA on it.

Covington Catholic 72 Highlands 62
Very tough physical game. Bodies were hitting the floor all night. Some not by choice either. The refs tightened it up a little in the second half though after talking to the captains.
