  1. The Lloyd QB injury would be the reasonable explaination as to why this game was closer than expected. Lloyd is a very good football team. Dayton, not so much. Hope his recovery goes well.
  2. It is true. Coach F. is no longer at Bracken. As always there are two sides to the story!
  3. Does anybody know the records of the Frosh/Soph teams of the following: Bellevue Dayton Ludlow Walton Verona Bishop Brossart Bracken Co.
  4. never mind. Made new thread
  5. You might be right about the two td passes!! Bellevue will win and in all likelihood play the JV in second half. Good luck Tigers.
  6. Not sure it was supposed to be an onside kick or not. Bellevue has been inconsistant in that area. Even if it was, 21-0 in the first half is still legit. Now if it was running clock in the second half, I would have a problem with it.
  7. After watching Brossart play against Bellevue the last two years, I would almost have to say they more competitive last year with the Olliers. I also dont get why Brossart coaches make their kids run sprints after getting beat like that to a better team. Were they punishing their players for losing? I also heard that Coach Rienhart (sp?) did not shake the Bellevue's coaches hand? Anyone know anything about this? I don't think the Tigers ran the score up.
  8. Mustang is right. Brossart was overmatched from the first whistle. They still have a long way to go. Glad to see the Tigers win again, and especially come out without any injuries. :thumb:
  9. If it is an administration fault, then why let a kid suffer the consequences? What does this say about the administration if indeed it was them that "dropped the ball"? As always, there are two sides of the story.
  10. The JV has been playing nicely. I'm very impressed! Go Tigers.
  11. Where have you been? We haven't heard from you in few days. A country version or rap would not sound too good. How about a "haka" version!!
  12. Yes, to a larger class school who get players from all over Campbell Co. without boundry restrictions and who is a favorite to win state.
  13. I didnt know Chuck Norris played for Campbell Co.?!
  14. He is a good coach. He does alot for the Bellevue football program and created "the paddle" between them and Dayton. Eckstien is fortunate to have him. I have heard that he was close to getting a job at a young program but elected to stay at Bellevue.
  15. This game will be over quickly. Bellevue subs in second quarter.
  16. Thread did not say "head" coach. So who are some assistants?
  17. Bellevue, you know this one will be tough and you have to play at your best. Keep fighting for 48 and see what happens. I know I for one would love to hear you sing.
  18. Lets really get this going and set some criteria.
  19. My unofficial, unbiased assessment of Nieco Teipel. Good size kid with better than average speed (not break away speed though). Likes to tip-toe through the big holes his line provides and seldom takes on big hits as he has very good body control (ala Shaun Alexander). I agree that he will probably end up on the defensive side at the next level.
  20. ^^^no harm done to the NCC following. I cant speak for the Harrison crowd though!!:irked:
  21. Many people think the bigger class schools automatically mean better football. But for my money it goes to Bellevue/Dayton. Yeah, Highlands/CovCath is OK too.
  22. I believe that Harrison Co. is T-H-O-R-O-B-R-E-D-S. (I think) This was pointed out to me from an NCC Thoroughbred! Perhaps, someone can verify this!
  23. Now that the apocalyse is upon us, I will go with Dayton. They fought through a brutal first 3 games. Time for them to put one in the win column.
  24. I for one am disappointed in the showing by Brossart. I thought that WV would win but was surprised with the ease. I keep hearing the excuse of Brossart "being young", but so is WV. Regardless of BB's past coaching deficiencies, the kids were playing and gaining football experience, ie., hitting and tackling. I saw coaches on the sideline not coaching, poor play calling, and unispired play (especially for a realistic chance to win their first game, and a homecoming game). Perhaps a head coach with more high school experience was needed. Congrats WV.
  25. The QB situation at Ludlow will obviously make it even more difficult to roll out of Bellevue with at win. Who will the Panthers turn to now?
