The enquirer came out with a poll yesterday asking people to vote on the "Best High School Football Rivalry in Northern Kentucky".

 

Whats your opinions?

 

I'd go with Bellevue/Dayton. The small schools put everything out on the field every time this game is played, and the pride that comes along with the victor is amazing.

 

Highlands/CovCath is also up there for me.

I'll take Highlands/CovCath in the playoffs, but during regular season I like Bellevue/Dayton.

Not from Northern Kentucky, but , I will say Highlands-Covington Catholic.

Beechwood/NewCath is a pretty intense game. Not as much on the line since NewCath went 2A, though.

I may be wrong but i thought the Bellevue v. Dayton game was the longest in the state.

The first thing Christopher Columbus did was land on Plymouth Rock. The second thing he did was form the Male vs Manual football game.

 

Bellevue/Dayton may be second in the state, they definitely are not first.

 

This is solely to prevent embarrassment from our high school football historians in the 'Ville.

Highlands and CovCath is always a big rivalry and Dayton and Bellevue is truly a long standing rivalry and always a hard fought game.
