Cov Cath vs Highlands is easily the best.

Boone County vs. Ryle is a pretty good rivalry as well.

The first thing Christopher Columbus did was land on Plymouth Rock. The second thing he did was form the Male vs Manual football game.

 

Bellevue/Dayton may be second in the state, they definitely are not first.

 

This is solely to prevent embarrassment from our high school football historians in the 'Ville.

 

I admit I forgot about the Male/Manual game (just wasn't thinking)! Bellevue/Dayton would have to one of the next oldest rivalries in the state, it always a great, hard-fought game between both teams.

 

By the way....Columbus must have just skipped over to the Male/Manual game as he did not land on Plymouth Rock:thumb:

The Bellevue/Dayton rivalry is by far the best in Northern Ky. Also, if I am not mistaken, it maybe the longest rivalry in the area if not the state

 

Im pretty sure it is the longest rivalry in the state but if not its the best regular season rivalry just for the simple fact that if your born in Dayton/Bellevue you are born to hate each other.:argue:

Many people think the bigger class schools automatically mean better football. But for my money it goes to Bellevue/Dayton.

 

Yeah, Highlands/CovCath is OK too.

Bellevue/Dayton. Two school that just hate each other for just no reason. They're always nasty smashmouth football games. CovCath/Highlands would be next. Another rivlary that has been getting big in the past couple of years is NCC/Beechwood.

One rivalry that is growing more with every game played is Holy Cross Vs. Lloyd.

HHS and NCC! Wait a minute. It would be the biggest if a certain coach would just play the game.

Highlands vs Cov Cath was the first that came to my mind. Then I'd say Ryle vs Boone, also a good rivalry.
