Which Northern Kentucky Team in your oppinion has the best complex

All have their good and bad.

If you like turf then Beechwood, CovCath, Highlands, Dixie, and Newport have your surface. If you are a grass fan, then Holmes, Ludlow, and Lloyd have good surfaces.

Parking wise you can't beat Ryle.

For close views I'd take Highlands.

Lloyd has the best cheesburgers, Ludlow usually has nice baked goods.

I went past Lloyd's field earlier this week. Looks like they are working on it now.

Newport's field looks very nice. Did they not get a grant from the Bengals?? I thought that 1 team from Northern Kentucky did.

Gallatin Co. has a nice surface. New lights are supposed to be going up this fall. New bleachers installed last season.

Newport has nice facilities now. The new lighting, new score board, new concession, and restrooms up graded. I think it is one of the better ones, but Dixie has the best but spent a lot of money to make it happen for them. But like someone said earlier, they all have good and bad point on each staduim.

As a fan, you have to like how close you sit to the field at Highlands. However, as a player, I wouldn't like the confined sideline and endzones.

Dixie's new complex is nice. The stands could've sat a little higher so the players on the sideline's don't block your view, and as Neerfan said, the visitor's side is small, and lower to the ground. As a player, you've got plenty of room all around the field. There are no worries of running into a fence, diving on a concrete walkway, or having a foot dropoff at the back of the endzone.

Ryle has a very nice complex too. The only knock IMO is the playing surface there. You lay turf on that field, and it's tops in NKY. I like grass better than turf, but when you have so many different teams using the field, turf is just a much better solution at the high school level. The stands are better than Dixie's, and the field is wide open for the players.

Newport's new setup looks very nice. I've only seen it from 471 though.

Newport has done a very good job with there new stadium. Espically since they are fielding 2 teams every year. However i do believe that Holmes has one of the best fields as well, other than the parking problems, the grass is great!!!

The nicest thing about Ryle is how you enter from the top, I like the setting. I've heard rumors over the years about SK getting a new complex to the North of the school, where the current practice field is, if that ever happens, I would imagine the setup would be much like Ryle's. As a player I loved playing in Ft. Thomas until they started scoring, and scoring and scoring against us. I also like CovCath but they need to invest in some restrooms.

you should take a closer look... like on the field, it is one of the softest i've ever been on

Ryle has the parking the restroom and the grass... however like many football / track combo stadiums - the fans sit too far away from the action for my liking. At David Cecil Memorial - you feel like you are part of the action, you can hear the coaches yelling instructions, the bad punts go into the stands, and sometimes, a player get popped into the stands! Bellevue's stands sit high, I am sure they are situated as HHS for football. They just need to get a decent playing surface...

Holy Cross received some money from the Bengals. But that was to upgrade their practice facility. They play their home games at Holmes.
