  1. Landrum is one hack of a talent. She just sometimes lacks consistancy. When she is on I don't think anyone can stop her, but it seems if she misses her first couple of shots it takes her out of her game.
  2. I think his parents relocated to Ludlow which is where Josh played NKYFL.
  3. Have any NKY stars (past or present) ever played in the Little League World Series? If so who are/were they and who do/did they play for?
  4. Lloyd. Anytime you get the coach that they did you have a great opportunity to turn some heads.
  5. I look for Ludlow to challenge Conner as well as Ashley Daughtry to challenge Long for POY. Ashley is small but stronger than probably any girl in the region. She'll get plenty on time on the floor playing PF along side both 6'+ players Caitlin Ottaway and Julie Hardin. They also have a great PG in Brook Jones who can flat shoot a 3. With these three teams will not be able to double team Ashley. This means she will either have an easy lay up or go to the line for 2. When they do double team with threats like Hardin, Ottaway, and Jones she will rack up assists. IMO Ashley will average atleast 15 pts., 10 boards, and 5 assists a game.
  6. I forgot to mention that this winter the Reds are giving all 3 of Ludlow's baseball fields a make over which is extremely needed. anyonr that ever played high school ball on the beach known as Lemker Field knows what I am talking about.
  7. Josh Montooth (junior) should be Ludlow's big play guy. He runs around a 4.4 and will for sure return kicks. He was a star as a frosh at Highlands and took last year to learn Ludlow's system. With a year of Coach Borcher's playbook experience look for Josh to make some rediculous plays for the Panthers.
  8. The Reds have done a ton for our Ludlow A.C. baseball program this past year. They paid all of the umpire fees for our team for summer ball and fall ball. They also gave an enormous amount of money for new gear which was horribly needed for our towns teams. On Easter Sunday and again tomorrow they allow the team I coach, which consists of 8 and 9 year olds walk the field before games and attend for free. On Easter Sunday they even heard a story of one of our youngsters losing his mother 2 weeks earlier and gave him the game ball with which the last out was made. I just felt that some would find the Reds doing this interesting since IMO especially the game ball incident is going above and beyond. Plus maybe this will get some fans off their back for below par play. On a serious note I'm very thankful for the Reds they got our program out of the hole and put excitment back into the game in Ludlow.
  9. Have tried it and was not at all impressed. The worst part is the advertised 6 strips of bacon is really 3 strips broken in half.
  10. Drove past it today for the first time. WOW! It's the best Bellevue has looked in a long time.
  11. Both Buddy Lundsford and Jake Helmer have been missing practice time lately. I have no details on the injuries but these are supposed to be Ludlow's top dogs on D. It should be interesting if they can't get to 100% by game time. Inexperienced players will have to step it up.
  12. Farris is absolutely the real deal. Is there any doubt at all we will one day see him in the MLB?
  13. It has been moved to 7pm on Monday @ Newport.
  14. The only sure outlook for the Tigers this year is a loss in week 3 when they venture down to James Rigney Memorial Stadium lol. But seriously from the talks in town that should be a good game.
