Trimble will have a hard time scoring on Ludlow defense. Ludlow 28 Trimble 0

We (Trimble) are very excited about this game, too. Trimble lost six players to graduation last year, one being the QB. They return RB David Bird (All State HM, co-District Player of the Year), along with fellow defensive LB Justin Hawkes (who has played QB in the past) and a strong offensive and defensive line.

What does Ludlow have?

By the way, welcome to the site, Uncle Charlie!

By the way, welcome to the site, Uncle Charlie!

Ludlow has a defense that can only be described as stellar. They have a middle linebacker that will punish any RB that wants to challenge him. Also they have outside backers with GREAT speed. The D-line is the biggest the school has had in years and look to also be able to stuff the run. When teams resort to pass Ludlows young but talented DB's will more then get the job done. They will be lead by senior DB Buddy Lundsord and his defense looks to hit hard and force turnovers. Their offense is a question mark. They have the talent to be great, but the line will have to be better than last year. Josh Montooth has the chance to return any kick. He runs a 4.4 i believe.

Call me crazy, but I will cash my chips in on Trimble county. Someone has to have faith ;)

Nice nickname "Raiders"

Glad that someone has faith in a team that went 7-4 with all most all of there team coming back plus one of the schools best athltetes coming out this year to go along with a transfer from Male.

Sounds like Ludlow has the lock on it then...the Raider boys may be scared.

Love the optimism! And they should be improved on last year. But reality is this defense gave up 44 to Holy Cross, 45 to Beechwood, and 50 to NCC while scoring a total of 14 points in all three games combined.

Ludlow had some injuries last year but the defense just wore down in games against teams with a capable offense.

The middle linebacker was out last year. Thats any defenses heart and soul. Ludlow wasn't experienced and neither was coach Borchers. I guess what Im trying to say is it's a knew year!

Poking fun at me for having faith in a team when you predict them to go down by almost 30!

I seriously think Trimble county can win. Oh and the "Raiders" is for Lindsey Wilson College BLUE RAIDERS

Whats this Trimble RB like?

I will defer that question to someone else, as I would be just a homer. I guess that I could give you the facts, though. 5'11, 190 lb., I believe he had 1200 yds as a sophomore and 1800 yds as a junior. You will have to ask your middle linebacker after he punishes him. :creepy:

Whats this Trimble RB like?

6'0 200lb. Sr. that has started for 4 years. Last year was the district co-player of the year in the same district with Danville and Frankfort. Broke school record for rushing in just 9 games. Went in the KHSAA record books as he avg. 11.2 yards per carry and that was with 2 games against Danville and one vs Frankfort. He is getting looks to play defense for Auburn, Cinn. Marshall, Eastern, Western and Murray.

He also has a 5'11 300 lb. Sr. Fullback to help lead the way for him.

RCR, we may claim you as a TC fan, though. :D I, too, have faith in the Raiders and believe that they will start the year out 1-0.

I was not poking fun at you. From one Rock Grad to another. I was being

And the Raider remark, we are the Trimble Co. Raiders. So we thought we had gotten another fan.
