That passing game sounds dangerous, but if Buddy Lundsford can get to 100% he can shut down anyone 1-1. Also QB Jarrett Rouse has the athleticism to cover many people. That being said the Panthers need Lundsford firing on all cylinders to help here. If he can shut down someone they can double cover others. I hope Buddy gets back not only because I am a fan but because I'm very excited about this game and want to see both teams to the best of their ability.

Be kinda hard for him to cover both Peters and Sullivan if he can shut down anyone 1 0n 1. 2 is more than 1, maybe he can cover anyone 2 on1.

Can you read? The thread clearly says Lundsford will shut 1 down while they double cover your other threat. SO:lol: yourself.

Looks like it could be a pretty evenly matched ballgame.

Should be a great one.

Latest up-date on Lundsford is limited in practice. Not completely sure what the injury is but he is going to physical therapy for all of this week and possibly next. He looks to be 100% by gametime.

I hope that things improve for him. Who does Ludlow scrimmage this year?

Ludlow scrimmages newport at newport on the 10th and Gallatin County at home on the 17th. I believe. They also have an intrasqud scrimmage this friday.

Trimble scrimmages at Grant Co on Aug 10th and at home v's Anderson on Aug 17th.

With Ludlow's damaging defense and Trimble's high-powered offense this sounds like a must see! Are we talking game of the year here?

Man with all this talk and hype, what could a game of this magnitude draw for a crowd. Are we talking thousands or what?

Trimble took a very large crowd to the Henry Co game last year. With it being the first game of the season, I would imagine they would do the same this year. I don't know about Ludlow...Charlie or Viper?

Ludlow is a pretty small community... we won't draw a thousand. Our fans and alumns travel well though I'd say between 350 and 450 atleast maybe more.

Trimble will at least match that. Add in the Henry Co fans that will go just to watch a football game and the other folks (I have talked to a few) that will go to watch a game on a night that their team isn't playing, we stand to have a decent crowd on hand.

I think that is why Henry Co chose to have our game as the prime time game. They play Casey Co that day. Casey is a long way away and only their most committed fans will travel the distance.
