I heard Ludlows quarterback went down with a neck injury, any word on him?

Not a big difference at all, just saying he showed up in thier biggest game. Plus Williamson didn't have the POY on his team to take the focus off of him.

I pretty sure he outscored the GREAT Bryan last year in the district game, which was probably ludlow's biggest game last year.

Williamson certainly has the skill to be a top 5 player in Div III. He might surprise a few people but YES Romes the head runner.

Daniel Hammons started and with 6 strong innings. First 2 runners reached base in the top of the 7th. Rouse was called in to close the came. Rouse struck out the side. Congrats to Ludlow on a good win.

Hammons and Rouse were on 75 pitch counts. Hammons started and went 4 innings and Rouse closed the last 3 innings. Combined they had at least 12-13 Ks.

Penick is no longer at Morehead. He transfered to a smaller school. Face it Bryan wont make it D1. Not to mention Dan Penick just happened to be 6 foot 9.

I will give you Miller. But as far as the others im not so sure. Slone was shut down by Arrez and Arrez outscored him. Same with Sanford who happens to be number 2 on your list. Also Henderson was the one playing Saturday night and scoring 18 points in the state title game, was he not? Just coming from what i saw from the weekend.

If I do recall Henderson scored 18 points being guarded by D1 Darius Miller (Great Great player by the way). He spent the whole tournament guarding the opponents best player. He shut down Sloan, Contained Samford, and has shut down players such as Knowles (now playing at Louisville) and Proffitt (now playing at Notre Dame). So is Arrez Henderson a D1 player? Theres no doubt about it! :thumb:

Agreed. Rouse was on target on practically all of his shots but none would fall. I dont think i've ever seen so many shots go in and out. Just one of those nights, unfortunaltely for him and the Panthers that night came at the wrong time. If he gets one three to fall instead of coming out the Panthers are still playing. PG Grant Logan (the 6th man that in my opinion should be starting.) He is a game changer. Ludlow plays at a higher pace and seems to have more energy when he is on the floor. As well as SG Tyler Trammel (former starter) who is a good three point shooter and is also very quick. These two did not play for a reason that i am unaware of something like missing a shootaround or something. But from what i heard they served there punishment the day before by running a lot of sprints. So, is the coach right to sit them out virtually the whole game in a tournament when they've served there punishment? You make the call.

This game may be closer than you think. Ludlow against Newport only played Rouse (11 pts) for the first half and a minute at the start of the third quarter (4 pt game at this point). Most of the starters were out of the game midway in third quarter. I think Ludlow's coach was sending a message to his starters about effort. From there the game just slipped away.

Grant Logan had 13 to lead ludlow in scoring. Gier and Williamson were all over the boards. Something around 26 rebounds combined. Williamson also added 12 points. Rouse did not start or play much the first half after only having one day of practice since returning. But did come off the bench to score 10 points in the second half. 7 of which came late in the fourth quarter. Craddock for Lloyd played a nice game tonight scoring i believe 16 points for the Juggs. Rouse's broken wrist is healing about on schedule the doc. said 10 weeks and i believe he gets it off on the 26th or 27th. Which is right at 10 weeks. Ludlows first game is the 27th. So he'll miss 2-3 games at most. Hopefully. :thumb:

Williamson is more of a drive to the basket player that can shoot the three. But the Panthers would rather leave that to Rouse and Trammel. Gier is their strongest inside threat. Good hops and nice timing on shot blocking. :thumb:
