Both Buddy Lundsford and Jake Helmer have been missing practice time lately. I have no details on the injuries but these are supposed to be Ludlow's top dogs on D. It should be interesting if they can't get to 100% by game time. Inexperienced players will have to step it up.

How are these two doing now? Does it look as if they will be ready for the start of the season? Were they able to get in at the scrimmage with Newport Monday night? Hoping they will be ready by Saturday the 25th.

Agreed. :thumb: I might add that the Raiders have a very solid, experienced head coach and some great supporting assistants.

How is the new o-line coach working out at Trimble?

Who is it? And what is the background?

The new lineman coach is Joe Conley. He played for Centre College. He is definitely an asset to the team, as is the offensive coordinator, Steve Kunselman (Hanover College All-American).

Coach Poynter has messed up. He did an outstanding job calling offense. he should have kept calling the plays.

Obviously he wouldn't have turned it over to someone unless he had complete and utter confidence in him. Kunselman will do a great job.

You all in Frankfort don't have to worry about it. You all have already been given the district title.

They must be getting ready to throw the ball with someone from Hanover as OC. They don't run the ball much there!

Not saying the new coach wont do a good job. Just pointing out that Coach Poyter had them rolling last season.

Son Frankforthas to learn to take a snap before they worry about anything else.

That has to be tough for a State Championship Contending team and D1 Recruit at QB to hear.

Whats this Trimble RB like?

He is the real deal!! Pure Stud..

I feel really bad for ya.

That's a nice compliment right there...coming from one of the Danville faithful! :thumb: Though I won't miss my team getting beaten by the Ads, I will miss watching them play. Maybe I will get to see you all at Papa Johns again this year.

TBG- How did the Anderson Co scrimmage go?

TBG- How did the Anderson Co scrimmage go?

Not very well to say the least. If they play like that the rest of the year they will be lucky to win a game. Bright spot 305 lb. fullback Corey Jones and Justin Hawkes running at QB. That is about it.

That is saying alot coming from someone from Danville that knows Football.:thumb:
