Not very well to say the least. If they play like that the rest of the year they will be lucky to win a game. Bright spot 305 lb. fullback Corey Jones and Justin Hawkes running at QB. That is about it.

I will agree with some of this. Jones is going to turn some heads this year. Hawkes is one of those unsung heroes of the game, too.

I agree that overall the team did not play well. However, I doubt that they will play a line as large as Anderson's all year. Also, you don't want your team to peak during a scrimmage game.

Who is it? And what is the background?

The new OL and Lb coach is Joe Conley. Joe played football at Centre college for 4 years. Joe is the grandson of the late hall of fame football coach Ben Pumphrey. Coach Conley brother is the lb coach at Centre College. So football runs in the family. Another great asset is that Coach Conley played under Coach Poynter at Bourbon Co. and was on the 1997 state championship team. He knows the system very well. I'll give him 2 :thumb: :thumb:

Trimble has to much for Ludlow. I will for go my life savings if they were to lose.

Well I had no comment on this before, but now after seeing Ludlow scrimmage, I must say that you might be losing your life savings...:sssh: :thumb:

Any more detail that you can give to this, FC?

I have my faith in the Byrd Man and his trusty crew. :D

I be honest I wasn't sure what to expect this year former high school, because they lost quite a bit from last years team. However now after seeing their first two scrimmages I have came away VERY IMPRESSED with the team and especially the offense. They have a couple of guys who didn't play last year that are playing this year now that are VERY GOOD football players and exciting to watch. Ludlow's offense is definitely the strength to this years team and will put up alot of points this year. The defense though needs to step up and play better because they haven't played to great in the scrimmages, even though they have had several key players dealing with injuries that has hurt. But all should be healthy for this game...

It should a very good game, and I know I actually look for it to be more of an offensive game...

Thanks! Sounds like a great addition to the staff. Good luck to the Raiders this season.

Ludlow's offense looked very good against Gallatin in the scrimmage. But Gallatin appeared as if they had Carroll County on their mind:madman: (imo).

Hey True Blue. No you don't want your team peaking in a scrimmage but you don't want to go out and fall on your face either.

All the talk is about how this is the best team ever in Bedford, seems I heard that last year. Henry County made you look bad. You better prepare for a very good Ludlow team. Cause they coming to get 'ya.

Your big fullback will not have any effect on the game Saturday. He'll be done by the second quarter. Too much beef to move in this heat. Looking forward to this weekend!

The game is at 8:30. Not 5:30, it is cooling down by then.:jump:

True Blue - Good luck against Ludlow. Sound like Ludlow is going to be tough but I am sure the Raiders are ready.!

Well I am a Ludlow fan, but calm down with all this talk man...I know I believe Ludlow will win too, but a couple people on here have tried to make Ludlow seem like World beaters and would beat anyone. Ludlow is and will be a very good team, but they have ALOT they need to improve on still.
