While it would be great to see there is absolutely no way you can predict that today.
Theoldguy
How much did Luke play in the tourney???? Not quite sure, as this was the first time since the first game that I was able to watch the entire game due to my work schedule. I did see him tonight batting in the bottom of the sixth, where he hit a line shot back to the pitcher who was able to knock the ball down and then throw Luke out at first. akw4572
Farris is absolutely the real deal. Is there any doubt at all we will one day see him in the MLB? While Corey's a fine player. Uhhhhhhhh, yeah, that's quite a stretch. IF you ever do see him put on a MLB uniform, there's some luck that needs to be involved, and a ton, a ton of hard work. Qryche11
Congrats to the Midland boys and to the two boys on the team from NKY. It will be fun to watch them in their careers because it looks like Baseball is their future.
Cardinal1826
I also heard during the game that Farris tied a World Series record with 2 triples in the game last night. Last time it was done was in 1986. I watched the beginnings of most of games and i think last night was maile's first appearance. He pinch hit for Farris after his 3-3 with two triples, a single and a walk. Appeared to hit the ball hard, just right at the pitcher who made a great play. Qryche11
I just looked at some of the history of the CMWS and saw some major leaguers on there. Also noticed a guy named Matt Berger....I remember that guy could stroke it at CCH.
