In Lexington there's a big one between LCA and Lexington Catholic. While Dunbar and Lafayette have been battling for years. Henry Clay and Lafayette also seem to be developing one too. Obviously i don't think any of these come close to some out there.

Dunbar vs. Scott Co., Tates Creek, Bryan Station. Catholic and Christian, I wouldn't really consider rivals. They've only played once and that was an absolute bashing by the Knights.

Everybody brings their "A" game for Highlands...but CovCath is the one the Birds get up for best! We respect all...but fear none!

Average of 35,000 in attendance. I'd say it's decently big.

The Male/Manual rivalry has been garnering some attention since the late 19th century.

Gallatin/Carroll County for sure. Gallatin gave Carroll their first loss last year in the Wildcats first ever varsity win.

North Bullitt vs. Bullitt East -- zero love lost between these two.

NewCath & Beechwood is the best small school rivalry without a doubt, it's a shame that there not in the same class anymore.

Ashland vs Russell is a big one here in EKY.

Raceland vs. Faiview (2 class A schools but a very intense rivalry)

Ashland vs, Boyd Co.

Raceland vs. Greenup Co.

 

Also, one that will be renewed this season after some 34 years of not playing will be the Raceland vs. Russell on Oct. 26th at Raceland.

The apple bowl! Johnson Central vs. Paintsville

Ashland and Russell def have my vote, the Ashland vs. Boyd isnt as big as it used to be at least from this ashland fans standpoint

NewCath and Beechwood is definately a good rivalry, but to say without a doubt, one must have never been in attendance at a Dayton/Bellevue game...
