  1. What about Newport Catholic? Noone is even putting them into the mix at all.
  2. After reading all these post noone is even talking about Newcath. I know last year was a down year but their JV team played extremely well and those players will be at the varsity level this year. Look for Newcath to be the sleeper in the 9th region
  3. I would haft to agree with NCC Proud Papa on this one. I don't think anyones offense in 2a can give Newcaths defence a run for their money!!
  4. What about Newcath? Noone is giving them any chances this year?
  5. Who is your favorite in the 2A to win the state. Opinions.?
  6. The Breds Defense has been nothing but spectacular the entire season. Only giving up 150 yards a game. Conner does nothing on the offensive side of the ball the entire game. And also posting 4 shutouts on the season. Friday night will make it there 5th. Newcath 28 Conner 0
  7. Holmes had a very convincing win over Dixie last Friday. I pick them in a very close game. Holmes 20 CCHS 14
  8. Yes, I can confirm that he will not be able to play tomorrow night against Dayton. I heard from a teacher today about the incident. It's a shame with all the distractions Lloyd has had to face this year, and yet here is another one. Good luck to these kids. They deserve to get a big win tomorrow night.
  9. I heard news today that #55 Trey Mulligan, the defensive "leader" for the Juggs who had an interception return for a TD in last weeks win against Newport that really sparked the team and led them to win, is suspended from school and will miss Friday's game. I dont know much about this kid, but will this effect the morale of the Juggs not having a key player on the so far spotty defense? Or will this not be a distraction to them at all?
  10. Coach Yeagle wont be there tonight, but i guarantee Lloyd will come out fired up. These boys really want a win bad, and will do anything to get it. I dont think LCA has played anyone who could compete with Lloyd. I expect LCA's powerful offense to be caught off guard. These boys made Beechwood work for every yard they got. All Lloyd has to do is get the offense going and make some plays. Lloyd- 21 LCA- 10
  11. Ryle will take care of Campbell County easy Ryle 28 CCHS 0
  12. This game is not even going to be close. After the Ryle lose friday night, I feel sorry for the Tigers this comming Friday. Newcath BIG!!! Newcath 56 Bellevue 0
  13. To clear all the rumors up about the kicking game. Chris Grosser was hurt due to a soccer injury sustained a week prior. The other soccer player was there, dressed on the sidelines.
  14. I don't think people are giving Newcaths defense credit for what they accomplished last week. Shutting out Cov Caths offence, now we all know they are not the usual power offence, in years past, but Newcaths defence can definitly stop Benke and Schmitz. Newcath in another upset 14-10.
  15. Not even a contest for Beechwood. Beechwood 42 Dayton 7
  16. Great defensive game for the Breds, the Colonels I belive had only 5 or 6 firstdowns the entire game! Way to go Breds!!!! :sssh:  :thumb:
  17. While I believe that Holy Cross is improving with time, establishing their program, I doubt they will be able to win this district, maybe not even get a two seed come playoff time. Yeagle will have Lloyd more than capable of doing some damage to teams that overlook them, and I think NCC still has a bad taste in their mouth from that loss to HC last season. Though they avenged the loss handily in the playoffs, I think that the Breds didn't like how it fealt and I do not see HC beating them again this year.
  18. Should be a very good game. It comes down to which Offence on either team steps up and produces points. Newcath in a close game by 3.
  19. Yes, it's been that long. That is why I am asking what is your opinion on THIS years game.
  20. Any opinions on who is going to take this rivarly game?
