This appears, barring upsets, to be the battle for #1 in the district. No disrespect intended towards Newport or Lloyd, but neither has shown much this year. I believe that NewCath's ability to spread the field and run lineman in and out on O and D will give NewCath a 21 pt win, 28-7.

It might not be possible to play worse than NCC did in this game last year when they absolutely threw in a clinker especially on offense. Holy Cross didn't really play all that well either, but it was certainly a better effort than NCC put forth. With that memory, and with the thumping in the playoffs, both teams ought to be a tad keyed up for this one.

NCC will have to stop Holy Cross on the ground including the QB who is a dangerous runner.

Holy Cross will have to pick a few passes off while not letting the NCC run game get going. Sort of the same formula as last year.

NCC by 20

ncc by 30+

NewCath by at least 17 .

Breds by 28 JV plays most of second half

Didn't a couple weeks ago have something about Holy Cross winning 2A. Where is that person now

I think the Holmes game changed the 2A state champion talk to lets get the 2 seed in the district. NCC by a large amount.

42-7 Breds roll, everybody plays

I wouldn't count Newport out of it just yet, they are going to get it together.
