I understand that you are a student, and we all appreciate your enthusiasm, but...maybe next year for HC. They have a very good Sophomore class from what I remember. However, you still have your coaching staff, and, until that changes, you will be outcoached.

I don't know if you call 31-7 a nail biter... but it's not.. I wouldn't even give the cross that many points.. they lost to holmes who lost to dayton... and NCC beat Bellevue 49-0... Bellevue is better than all those teams mentioned but NCC...

This appears, barring upsets, to be the battle for #1 in the district. No disrespect intended towards Newport or Lloyd, but neither has shown much this year. I believe that NewCath's ability to spread the field and run lineman in and out on O and D will give NewCath a 21 pt win, 28-7.

 

You say neither one of them has shown much, but was Holy Cross hasn't shown anything either this year...I know I think Holy Cross will end up being the 3rd seed this year...

I'm sure there has been but this is one of the most lopsided polls I've ever seen.

 

I just can't stop thinking about TheScribes Week 5 notebook and and the biggest upsets part and seeing that 97 percent or something picked NCC!

 

I still thnk NCC wins but I think it will be closer than most think.

If you want to call me out, call me out. I'll try to be a politically correct as I can. Unlike most of the posts throughtout the threads I know HC's limitations. Believe me, I would love to see HC win. But, I think with my head and not my heart. HC can very well be very competitive this yr., but the talent has to be utilized. That is HC's weakness, they don't utilize the talent they have. I don't think I'm one to talk smack, just one that lives in the real world. If you read the poll for this game......you will see who I think will win. Again, believe me, I will be pulling strong for HC to win. Unless things have changed tremendously in 2 weeks.....it is unlikely.
