Well the cardiac Greendevils make a trip over to Erlanger for a match-up with the 2A Lloyd Juggs.

Lloyd has been a tad inconsistant on both offense and defense this year, and along with coaching situation, can the Juggs pull this one out?

Dayton seems to have games come down to the final minutes or be over early. So is this another nail-biter?

Dayton won last year at home but will the Juggs get revenge?

What say you?

All I can think about is how Roy Lucas got wronged in all of this.

He retires from "head coaching" citing burnout...teams up with Yeagle who leaves him holding the bag. Now Lucas will finish out the season...

Anyways I will take Dayton in this one.

Did Yeagle step down. And Lucas is the head coach now?

I thought he was on a two week leave of absence?

I have Lloyd by 10 between the lines.

To the stuff outside the lines:

Regardless of the coaching situation, which may not be an issue (if it ever was for the kids) after the win over Newport and if that happens to start a winning trend... just let it go. Lloyd has a group of talented kids, let them enjoy their time on the field, no matter who is coaching them. I give zero points outside the lines. Lloyd by 10.

Dayton coming off a big win knocking off #7 in 1A in the state, And Lloyd off there first win of the season. This makes for a great game that i see being close all the way till the end. Dayton in a nail biter.

Dayton 25 (dang PAT's)

Lloyd 21

Taking all the complaints of bad spots, bad calls, and bad bands into consideration, might be nice to see Dayton try to win one with out all the outside distractions. I did not see last weeks game, but for the life of me I dont see Dayton as a solid team, there always seems to be an * after each win. If Yeagle comes back this week, which I doubt, the officials will have to keep there eyes open on clock, spots, and calls, Yeagle will not stand for it, and they know that. I see the Juggs by 10 points.

All those complaints Are exactly what you said, Complaints! If you would have watched the Dayton vs. Lynn Camp game you would have saw some Dayton DEFENDERS being tackled! So bad calls happen on both sides of the ball. And Dayton has won four out of their five games this year. 2 5a, one of those away, a big district game and beat at the time #7 in the state in 1a and you still cant give them the credit of being a solid team?

My hometown school Dayton in a close one 17-13

Excuses, Dayton starts doing good and people come out with the hating. IF anyone Lynn Camp was the one with 7 injuries in one series and then there quarter back walking all the way to the side line which you cant do and as far as the spots, Lynn Camp got one on a huge drive that almost ended the game. If Dayton is not soild what does this say about the many teams they have beat. Give them boys some credit they work for it every week.

Those are some pretty weak arguments against Dayton. Whodathunkit, Dayton's getting all the calls...

As for Lloyd game, it will be interesting to see if the Dayton 'D' can step up and get it done. Hopefully Coach Deaton can continue to put them in a situation to win the game...

Dayton is on a roll and it will not end with Lloyd. Dayton by 7 in this one! Good luck Devils ... :fire:

Where are all the Lloyd supporters? Although I think Dayton is being coached well this year, by Coach Deaton, I think we need to consider Lloyd and the talent and coaching staff that is at Lloyd. To say the least, it will be a good game.
