If Dayton can dominate the line of scrimmage like they did last year. The game will be just like last years i know Joe Wynn will come out looking to have a big game after last year he got hurt against Lloyd on a cheap shot that sat him out for a couple weeks. Also with him knowing many people from Lloyd after going to school there before should be good.

Lloyd football coach Mike Yeagle is taking a leave of absence from the team, but school officials have said he still is the head coach.

 

Yeagle, who has been battling some health problems, was not expected to be on the sidelines Friday night for the Juggernauts' home game against Lexington Christian. Offensive coordinator and former Lloyd head coach Roy Lucas Jr. will coach the team in Yeagle's absence.

 

"He's just taking a couple weeks off," said Lloyd athletic director Chad Molley. "Roy's going to take over. But there's nothing beyond that."

 

Yeagle, who has coached more state championship teams than anyone in Kentucky history, won eight titles in 14 seasons at Beechwood. This season is his first at Lloyd.

I heard news today that #55 Trey Mulligan, the defensive "leader" for the Juggs who had an interception return for a TD in last weeks win against Newport that really sparked the team and led them to win, is suspended from school and will miss Friday's game. I dont know much about this kid, but will this effect the morale of the Juggs not having a key player on the so far spotty defense? Or will this not be a distraction to them at all?

I think this will be a big distraction for the Juggs. Not to mention they can't afford to lose and starters right now much less your leader. Dayton by 10

I am saddened to hear about Coach Yeagle. I hope for the sake of all involved he gets healthy soon.

Yes, I can confirm that he will not be able to play tomorrow night against Dayton. I heard from a teacher today about the incident. It's a shame with all the distractions Lloyd has had to face this year, and yet here is another one. Good luck to these kids. They deserve to get a big win tomorrow night.

If Coach Yeagle get's healthy, it improves Lloyd's chances of advancing deep into the post season dramatically.

 

I was wondering what happened in the LCA game when I initially saw the score, but when I heard Yeagle was not there it made sense.

Dayton wins another close one. Holmes had just as good as athletes as Lloyd does and Dayton was able to beat them.

 

 

Little different situation here, Dayton knew ALL the plays that Holmes would run. They actually knew them better than the Holmes players probably knew them at the time...

 

I really cant predict on this game because I think it will go down to the wire, and could go either way...
