Ryle 35 Simon Kenton 14
I agree 100%. Ryle had the best team and coaches tonight. Made more big plays and zero turnovers. The best team won and wish them well next week.

Maybe your right but SK would have 3 wide out to one side of the field and Winkler on the other side and Ryle still had a corner and safety on Winkler's side of the field. The other side played straight up man coverage.

I couldn't see it very well but I could hear the coaches and that's what they were saying.

Not sure what your calling double coverage but Ryle had someone up hitting him every play with a saftey covering that side of the field. Sounds like double coverage to me?

It looked to me like he kicked the ball straight into the turf and it took that long bounce into the air. I think that is what the SK coaches were complaining about.

Highlands Adds 2 OH Teams for 2011
That's what he's counting on. Wait until the schedule is full and then tell everyone that he tried to schedule the birds. If he wanted to schedule Highlands, they would be on the schedule aready. JMO

6A Playoffs Simon Kenton/Henry Clay Predictions
I'm glad to see you pay as much attention at the game as you do on here. Winkler did fumble the ball and TC recovered it.

They did turn the ball over against TC? If they turn the ball over against HC it will be a long night for the neers.

You may be right. It just didn't look like it to me. It sounds like you were closer to the field than me and I'm getting old and the eyes may be going just a little. Still a close call and it sounds like the refs got it right. Sorry!

That's my point. He didn't touch the ball before it went 10 yards. The ref that through the flag was on the TC sideline. The kicker was running next to the ball in between the ref and the ball. The ref could not see if he touched the ball or not. I was on the SK side of the field and it did not look like he touched the ball. He waited until it crossed the 50 and fell on the ball. Actually the ball bounced up to him but he was on the other side of the 50 when he grabbed the ball. Again this is what it looked like to me in the stands. They were on the field and may have seen something I didn't. I will say this though, if he did touch the ball and maybe he did, I think the wrong ref made the call. JMO

That's because he's the only one they run. The other running back ran great tonight. All half dozen or so times they had the chance. The rest of the time it was the QB. That's why they couldn't score in the red zone. Any team that watches films of SK knows that once their in the red zone you only have to watch one player and that's the QB. He's either going to run or throw the ball to #35. They've done it all year and their not going to stop now. TC watched films and stopped them in the red zone all night. SK scored on a long TD pass and another one on special teams. The rest were field goals. That's my 2 cents anyway. I'll step off my soap box now.

If not for a couple bad calls SK would be out of the playoffs right now. The TD that was called back for TC was just wrong. The kid was in the endzone when the ref through the flag back at the 45 yard line. If it'ts a block in the back, throw the flag when it happens and not wait until the play is over. The on side kick they recovered? Not sure what the call was but I was sitting on the 50 yard line and the kicker did not touch the ball until it crossed the 50. Still not sure about that one but I'm sure SK is lucky to move on to next week. They will have to play alot better next week if they want to get by Henry Clay.

Bluegrasspreps 6A Rankings - November 1st
I agree, but I've been picking the wrong teams all year. I picked Manual this week so Eastern will probably win.
