  5. I think that Newcath's non-district schedule could help them tremendously. Aside from district opponents Lloyd, Newport, and Holy Cross, Newcath will play Covcath, Ryle, Campbell County, Conner, Simon Kenton, Beechwood, and Bellevue. Some big schools, and of course Beechwood, will be big challenges for the Thoroughbreds, and I think it will definately help them in the long run for later on in the season.
  6. Pitching we will be young in. Harris and Litmer first come to mind as strong points. Pangallo (junior) pitched very well in the Corbin tournment last year . Wrobleski (also a junior) saw varsity pitching time last year but is suppositly out for the season (shoulder surgery). We will have alot of dept but no varsity experience
  7. For NewCath, they have WR/DB Brian Wrobleski, WR/LB Wes Diehl, WR/DB Alex Pangallo, S Clint Nessler, LB Johnny Pabsts, LB Nick Franzen, lineman Eric Wedding, Steve Eviston, John Keating, & Kyle Biggs, RB Mark Kelly and QB Ben Parr
  8. Any opinions on Newcaths team this year?? Strong Points/ Weak Points
  9. Yea could've, but the coaches aren't to smart, he would've been the second best player on the team behind Kiernan.
  10. Nice to see Kiernan have a good game. Hope he can do it tomorrow night against CovCath.
  11. Yes, he was. But against Highlands he didn't get play like he should've. Honestly, I think he should have been starting at point guard. That and I don't think Brannen knows what he's doing yet.
  12. And they're lighter now, as Junior guard Alex Pangallo quit the team. I talked to him today and he said that he quit for sure.
  13. Not a big diffence between 1a and 2a "oneijoe"
  14. Any opinions on the best team in the 9th region?
  15. Any information on Luke Maile? Starting? 6th man ?
  16. Watch out for Junior-to-be Mark Kelly, NCC. He comes from a talented family in which his brother Ben was a great back for NC a few years ago. He did a nice job backing up Vicars this past year and did a great job stepping up against Somerset in the Semi-Finals. He may not be a household name, but by the first few weeks of the season he will be.
  17. Junior-to-be Ben Parr from NewCath. He had a sensational Frosh season and was in the running to start this past year but injured his shoulder diving for a baseball. He will be a good weapon for NewCath as his arm will kill people deep and him running away from defenders will make him a double threat.
  18. I can feel a Ncc Vs. Danville rematch next year!
  19. Congrats to Mr. Beaumont. I had the privelage to watch him play against Highlands in the pre-season and all I could say was 'Wow'. The kid deserved it and hope he continues to succeed in football next year with the Cards.
