Frankfort wins I believe 30-7. Gallatin had the ball around the 50 with 6:00 minutes to go and 4th down and 6 and punted then the flood gates opened.

How about 3 toilets and 2 small urinals for every man in the place to use. I have no idea what it would be like for the women. The lighting is better but not great. The floor is slick. The scoreboard is outdated. The only teams that are centrally located are in the southwestern part of the region. I wonder what would happen if some of the NKY teams might suggest having the 8th region tournament at the Bank of Ky Center. This would be a great place to watch the tourney and we would see how all the teams within 25 minutes of Henry County would like the drive.

How did Henry pull this one off?

I haven't heard a whole lot from you this year I guess you can't give Gallatin credit for anything. I am just wondering if you were there to know the circumstances.

That weak region last year finished in the final 4 of the state if I am not mistaken.

With Coldiron and Sandlin this is the best crew in the 8th bar none.

I have a thought--- Let the players and coaches call the game---this will save the schools money and end result will be a better called game.:jump:

Maddox is out for the year from what I have heard. Santa Claus is moving from the North to the South Pole also. Watch out for Gallatin with or without Maddox they have won it 3 straight years and that means a lot come this time of year.

Not saying Coach Yager is not doing a good job, but if this was last year the fans would have been calling for coach Miller's head.

I believe it was a Gallatin County win over Henry County the last time that someone on this forum said that Z. Jones was over-rated. What do you think now?

Really impressed with the Warriors coach, Coach Netherly learned from one of the best and you can tell by the way his kids played hard even after the outcome of the game was decided early. He will get that program turned around.

Without Maddox they beat Henry by 15 and would still be a contender in the region because Gallatin does what Gallatin does every year, they play team basketball.

I'm not sure but I thought I heard Maddox beat out Penny for a spot on the Eddie Ford AAU team this summer. Somebody must like Maddox for this to happen. Like I said I don't know if this is true just heard it this summer.

No one gave the Cats a chance against Bellvue last week either. The coaching staff at GC will have their boys playing tough. Go Cats!!!

With the addition of Coach Netherly coiming from a very successful program at Gallatin I could see the Warriors being much improved. Coach Netherly will have those boys playing hard you can count on that.

I heard Trent Maddox of Gallatin County beat him out for a spot on the Eddie Ford AAU team and until he hurt his knee was the starting point gaurd on the team.

Trent's father Bobby is a graduate of Gallatin County, I believe that would make him homegrown.

It is almost 24 hours later and I am still numb. I am not sure if this will be my last post on here till next season or not I just don't know at this moment if I have the heart for it. I would like to say that I have had fun verbally sparring with you guys and ladies this year it has been fun. In saying this I could not be more proud to be a Gallatin County Wildcat fan than I am right now. The way those boys laid it on the line and played their hearts and guts out for their community, their school, their coaches, and especially for each other has been amazing! Thank you Wildcats for making the long winter bearable with some excellant basketball. Congratulations to Coach Jones, his staff, and an amazing bunch of kids on a great seson! Good luck Shelby represent the 8th region well at Rupp.

Gallatin's uniforms might have been a little sweaty? You can laugh all you want this is true. Besides if I am a coach or player I want to win the game by being the best team on the floor not the team who caused a fuss over a mistake.

North Oldham had Gallatin Co's jersey's on when they first warmed up rather than start the game with a technical they would have worn Gallatin's jersey's. I personally saw Gallatin's AD bring the jerseys back to the Gallatin Coaches who were setting close to me.
