Good game. Back and forth throughout. Hendrick, bless his heart, drove the length of the floor with 7.4 seconds remaining and missed about a 10-12 footer as the buzzer sounded.

You have to feel for the seniors.

Hendricks played great.

Henry hit a drought in the 4th quarter, but Pete Baldwin scored with 17 seconds left to put Henry ahead.

Baldwin and Hendricks were the stars tonight.

Henry has 4 players ill tonight, but they always seem to pull the close games out.

Also Congrats to Carroll CO for a great season. They are a much improved ball team this year and I just can not imagine where this team would be if they had this leadership for 4 years. The Seniors did a great job learning a new system and working hard and will be missed. I really enjoyed watching them in every game.!

Congrats to HC -- you must really like CC's floor.

Interesting matchup in the final...Henry's becoming experts at these close games...I believe that's 11 games the Wildcats have won by 3 or less...

Anyone that has been around basketball long enough knows that to win 20+ games requires the ball to bounce your way every once and a while. And it would be a lie to say that Henry Co has not had that happen. But they also execute down the stretch and "stay in" games, therefore the "lucky" shot that does fall is one that matters.

 

Last night, Henry and Carroll played a heck of a basketball game and that shouldn't be taken away from either team. Saturday night should be a great championship, Henry vs. Owen. Henry leads the series this year 2-1. Best of luck to both teams.

Like I said, sometimes you need the ball to bounce your way. Against a team like Owen County, you take a win anyway you can get it.
