Hendricks played great. Henry hit a drought in the 4th quarter, but Pete Baldwin scored with 17 seconds left to put Henry ahead. Baldwin and Hendricks were the stars tonight. Henry has 4 players ill tonight, but they always seem to pull the close games out.

The luckest team in the state moves on to face Owen Co.

I was at this game and here is what I saw. Both teams played very hard and the game could have gone either way. I did not see the push, but I am not saying that it did not happen. If it did happen it should have been called, but should not be called aferward by either coachs arguments. The shot at the end of the game was noting but net. The players ( other than the push?) I thought played fairly. The refs were bad by not calling alot of fouls by both teams. The Henry county fans showed respect to the Owen team by clapping for all players and their awards. The Owen fans sat on their hands and showed no respect. All in all a very good game to watch. Best of luck to both teams in the future!

I love how the HC people can make a comment on here to jerk your chain and several of you just go off showing how much you dislike HC. What did they ever do to you, other than maybe beat you in a game, to make them so disliked?

Henry 521 I didn't answer your question about grades. Yes grades will come into play. You can bet that if a school is looking at several players that are about the same in talent, the player who is a better student will have an advantage.

Henry 521, I do not want to say which school he played for because people in my area would easily know who I am. I will say it was a BCS school. I am open to talk to you one on one. Thank you qryche 11 for the welcome.

My son was a 4 year starter for a D 1 school. He would not have been noticed without a lot of work on my part sending out films and stats to schools and then following up with phone calls to those who expressed interest. The coaches help some but don't count on them alone. He played for a played for a 2 A school and did not get much exposure.
