EC12
I was just wondering who the favorite was to win the All "A". Im not really familar with many teams outside of the 16th so I would have to say Elliott would be my favorite.

The Professor
I would say Elliott County. There's a few teams that could upset the Lions, but they would have to really play their best and Elliott would have to not be on their game. Hazard is a team that could knock them off. Shelby Valley as well. But I think Coach Mays is not going to allow this opportunity to pass. He will have them ready.
16thBBall Fan
Should come to Eastern Kentucky with either Elliott or Shelby Valley. Elliott has to be the favorite being ranked anywhere from #1-5 in polls. But that's why they play the games.
addout
Elliott Shelby Valley The field I would add Hazard after Shelby Valley and before the rest of the field.
King James
The matchups (according to Dave Cantrall) look like this: #11 Edmonson County vs. #8 Lyon County #5 Bardstown vs. #7 Lexington Christian #6 Murray vs. #9 Shawnee #12 Clinton County vs. #3 Hazard #15 Calvary Christian vs. #13 Pineville #16 Whitefield Academy/Collegiate winner vs. #1 Elliott County #2 Shelby Valley vs. #14 Henry County #10 Danville vs. #4 Newport Central Catholic Elliott County's quad includes the #13, #15, and #16 seed. That could make for a cakewalk for them to the semi's.
PurplePride92
I don't know a lot about any of these teams except for Danville and they are playing really good ball right now. They have won 6 of their last 7 and their guards are very athletic and their big guys down low are big and wide athletic bodies. Jacody Taylor is a tremendous player, especially for his size, and his supporting cast at guard aren't bad either. I am not saying they will win it all, I think Elliott County will do that, but it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Danville turn some heads in Richmond. King James
Massey High School Basketball Matchup sees it like this: Lyon County over Edmonson County 63-53 LCA over Bardstown 67-65 Murray over Shawnee 62-58 Hazard over Clinton County 56-36 Pineville over Calvary Christian 67-65 Elliott County over Whitefield Academy??? 96-49 Shelby Valley over Henry County 66-40 NCC over Danville 56-51 LCA over Lyon 67-63 Hazard over Murray 59-47 Elliott County over Pineville 95-57 Shelby Valley over NCC 60-48 Hazard over LCA 63-54 Elliott County over Shelby Valley 84-72 Elliott County over Hazard 78-
Lion Mania
I would have to go with Cantrell's ratings and have Hazard vs. Bardstown in SF #1 and Elliott vs. Shelby Valley in SF #2. Hazard and Elliott County in the final with Elliott as the All A Champs. Shelby Valley will have a tougher quarter final with NCC but should prevail. Elliott and Shelby Valley should have all Eastern Kentucky rocking. When healthy I think Shelby Valley is a Top 5 team in the state and can play with anyone. So I think Elliott vs. Shelby Valley is a matchup of Top 5 teams. Just so I don't have to answer the question here are my top 10 rankings as of today: 1) Holmes 2) Scott County 3) Elliott Co. 4) Eastern 5) Shelby Valley 6) J-Town 7) Ballard 8) Corbin 9) Mason Co. 10) Bryan Station/Christian County/Lexington Catholic (3 way tie) Hazard I would rank somewhere around the 15-17 range even though they haven't played to potential yet. oral32
It's Elliott's to lose. If they don't win it it will be a huge upset.
BigSpikes
It should be a decent finish. I think Hazzard and Elliott will win it. My money would be on Elliott, but stranger things have happened.
