EC carries the weight of "expected to win", but I believe they handle that with no problem and win the "A" this year. Perhaps one of the final two games will be close but "blow out city, baby" is in store for the first two games.

In all of the different polls out there is there a all A team ranked ahead of Elliott. I don't think so! So if you base a prediciton on that Elliott should win it all if they do not based on the polls it would have to then be an upset.

NCC is my choice.

 

I think they lose to Danville, but we'll see. That's why they play the game. I think Danville is being underestimated. If Jacody Taylor can continue to stay hot, then I think Danville will pose a problem for teams in the early rounds.

Doesn't Bardstown return evryone from last year's team? I agree,think they will come from the top.

 

Yes, all but one starter and the top 3 bench players all returned from last year's 5th Region Sweet 16 team. They are extremely athletic and run the whole game.

At this point, I would rate the top half of teams like this:

 

1. Elliott County ... the pressure is on them now

2. Shelby Valley ... looks like the best of the rest

3. Hazard ... Campbell's departure takes them out of the #2 spot

4. Bardstown ... finally has all the pieces together and healthy

5. Newport Catholic ... always a tough out

6. Murray ... finally healthy again and very well-coached

7. Lexington Christian ... a dangerous, battle-tested team

8. Shawnee ... can't overlook an athletic Louisville bunch

I hope your right PP92...I know your right about Danville being underestimated...These guys were having some trouble in the beginning of the season starting 0-4 since then they are 8-3...The bread and Butter to this team is there defense...They are quick and will bring pressure the entire game...Jacody can flat out shoot especially for his size...Cruz Warner will guard his man tight all night long,on offense if he gets hot from 3 it will cause some trouble for the opposite team...Miles Kingsley will be all over the offensive boards somebody better block him out...

 

I am hoping that NCC is Underestimating the Ads and the Officials will let both teams play...That being said anything can happen...:thumb:

Yes I will be there, I have a horse in the race.(#34) As far as anyone else posting from the NCC family, I have not figured them out yet.

Have you seen Hazard play since Campbell's departure? They may actually be a better team.
