Anybody at this game? It seems like Henry County has really came along way since the beginning of the season. The 31st and all A seems to be pretty tight this year.

This was a close game because Trent Maddox went out I believe at the end of the first qtr. or early in the 2nd with an injury. My understanding was that he went to the hospital with a hip injury. Henry Co. matched up pretty well without him playing. The game came down to a last second shot by Gallatin to win.

Yes, Henry Co.has improved since their last meeting with Gallatin. Very exciting game. Henry Co. scores with 2.2 seconds left in OT to go up 52-51. Gallatin calls timeout. Gallatin throws pass length of court which is deflected out of bounds with 1.7 seconds left. With Gallatin inbounding ball under own basket, Zac Jones knocks down 12-15 footer at buzzer for the Gallatin win.

Hope Maddox is ok. Nice win for the Cats!

Original prognosis for Trent is a chipped bone in his pelvic area. As of now he will be out 1 to 4 weeks. Tough season for Trent so far. He has played with a bum knee and a sore ankle. Hopefully this injury will not cost him the rest of his senior season.

As for the game, gutty win for the Wildcats. They played the OT with a junior, 2 sophomores, a freshman, and an 8th grader. Zac Jones had 27 points and a boatload of rebounds.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery for Trent. He seems like a classy young man. Zack Jones is one of the best underclassmen in the region.

First off, I wish Maddox the best on his return. He is a heck of a ball player. Now, I was the one who said Jones was overrated, and Iwasn't at this game this time so I woudn't know, but I have seen him quite a few times the past few years at different levels and, while I think he is a good ball player, I think he is a little over hyped, thats it. I can't say anything right now because I have only seen him twice this season (HC and CC games).

What was the deal with the time clock issue in this game? The Henry Co. fans say there was 0.8 seconds on the clock when a timeout was called. When play was resumed 2.2 seconds was put on the clock. I know after the game Coach Holland accused the score keeper of cheating them out of this game.

The scorekeeper was told by the lead official to put 2.2 seconds back on the clock as that was when the timeout was called.
