The ball was touched on the inbounds to Jones, the clock never started when it should have, and if you were there you would know that he ball faked and took two dribbles to score. The clock keeper stated that the clock started when he saw it was deflected no way that happened have seen it on film, tough shot by Jones take nothing away from that, it was the deflection under the basket and the clock not starting from there, not the 2.2 and when Maddux was in HC had the lead, I thought that HC dropped down when he was out and thought they had the game won. It took 3.9 second for the whole play to occur after it was touched by Taylor under the basket, if you want the film I can send it you!

No thanks, i have seen the tape. It confirms that the clock keeper started the clock when he was supposed to, when the official drops his hand!!!!It is not up to the clock keeper to decide when the ball is touched. If Coach Holland had any class, he would have voiced his displeasure with the THREE officials, not the volunteer clock keeper.

I know the clock keeper personally, and yes he had a son involved in the game. I can assure you that he would not cheat anyone under any circumstances.

I just don't see how the clock keeper kept their cool with all of the stuff being said to them. That "is" the stuff I can not put on here.

Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. His love and passion for the game just makes him that much better.:thumb:

Henry County did not lose to a clock keeper or clock. They were defeated down the stretch by an 8th grader, a Freshman, two Sophs, and two Juniors. Only one of those kids has any Varsity experience before this season. If I recall correctly, Henry County had a 6 or 7 point lead in 4th QTR. If Henry County takes care of business, we would not be having this discussion.

Good luck to Henry County the rest of the way. A lot of basketball yet to be played.

Looks the shot was good and the clock started when the officials arm dropped. Classy title.

I don't see what people were complaining about. I think when a team loses the refs or umps depending on the sport get blamed instead of the team being beat by being out played.

One thing is pretty clear, based on the video. During the last 19 seconds of overtime, the clock keeper did exactly what he was supposed to do - start and stop the clock on the official's command. If Holland berated him over this, then he owes this man an apology.

The video evidence obviously supports the clock keeper. I am sure if Coach Holland had access to this video, he would apologize for his actions.
