  1. You must not know much about Carroll County basketball. I'm not from Carroll County but I'll tell you who Coach Leep is. He was the JV coach for Carroll County last yearand assistant to Coach Yager. As far as Coach Stewart, I don't agree and it sounds as if you might have personal reasons for your remark, that would be better to leave off of here.
  2. Coach Stewart is a major asset to the program. His son Ethan Stewart was a standout guard for Carroll County last year.
  3. Alexander was 6 ft. last season, he may have grown during the summer. He is a streak shooter, last season he was either hitting or missing. He will be their go to guy this season in my opinion and I'm sure his shooting has improved greatly. Trimble lost their top rebounder and scorer with Webb graduating.
  4. He informed the players and parents at the Sports Banquet on Monday night. He made it official on Tuesday.
  5. Coach Lauster informed the players and parents at the Sports Banquet on Monday night.
  6. Justin Webb should have made the team. It should not have mattered what Trimble Co's record is. Oldham Co. had 4 players on the team. In the 29th District game last night, Justin outplayed two of their big guys. Justin's PPG average and rebounding average was superior to both of them.
  7. When the ref's let the kids play Trimble County pulled away every time. Our players were couldn't move in fear of a foul being called.
  8. A game that should have been called fair. If you weren't at the game then you would think I am biased, but if a Williamstown fan commented to our coach, then I wasn't the only one who noticed. What I'm upset about is the fact that 3 grown men could do that to high school kids including Williamstowns. It's not the fact that Trimble lost, it's hard to watch your son(whether it be Williamstown or Trimble) being treated this way by adults.
  9. The game wasn't out of control because the players couldn't even play. One of the Williamstown players told a Trimble player that he couldn't believe all of the fouls. The lesson in life is that unfair things happen and you have to handle them with class which they did. You obviously must be from Williamstown. Williamstown won the game by shooting free thows. Trimble would have won by a great margin if the players could have played ball. Trimble Co. has only won 2 games this year, but we have played a strong schedule and played teams to help us to improve, which we have. The only thing that had gotten out of hand were the referee's. There were scouts from another team there watching and they were shaking there heads and laughing at all of the fouls on Trimble Co.
  10. Trimble County didn't lose this game it was taken from them. This was the worst officiated game ever played and a film of the game is being sent to KSHAA. 31 fouls were called in the first halve alone. One of the three officials made 90% of the calls. Webb from Trimble Co. scored 10 pts in the 1st quarter alone. Williamstown didn't have an answer for him except the ref's. The 2nd qtr. began the same for Webb and within 3 minutes he was on the bench with 2 fouls. I believe he fouled out in the 3rd qtr, followed by another Trimble player. Then another player was targetd by the refs and had to go to the bench. It was so bad that Trimble's JV squad had to play the 2nd quarter while the starters sat on the bench in foul trouble. Williamstown also had several bad calls. The had 2 players to foul out but late in the 4th quarter. There were so many fouls called in the 2nd quarter alone that it lasted approximately 15-20 minutes. This was an injustice to both teams . This was Williamstowns first win of the season and I wouldn't be proud of winning one like this. A fan of Williamstown actually talked to Trimble Co.s coach and expressed to him how bad the officating was. Trimble Co. players have learned a valuable lesson of life tonight.
  11. Brien Foree that signed with EKU dropped out to work. I'm not sure if he played one season, but was an excellent player. Bradley who is the kid your are referring to just has to stay focused. He can sometimes be proned to get into trouble outside of basketball. Recently though I believe he is doing really well. I believe he has matured quite a bit in the last year.
  12. It was ask if there were any thoughts on "who's on top". I take that as meaning this years teams, and I believe the three I mentioned will make a run. Actually I hope South & North don't as they are in our district. You need to move on to someone else. You take yourself way to seriously.
  13. North Oldham-Devon Rowen Shelby County-I'm not sure who they have since Hick's left for Trinity and some may have went to Martha Layne Collins. South Oldham-Carson Fields
  14. Actually I do, you don't have to agree with me, it's my opinion.
  15. Didn't HC lose several players to graduation?
  16. Trimble Co. looked good in their games this summer. Beat some quality teams, Gallatin Co. is always in contention. Eminence doesn't have a point guard and lost several to graduation, but I think they will be solid.
  17. One of the coaches said there were 60 teams. Trimble County looked very good, won all of their games except to Johnson Central by 1.
