uk#1fan Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 SK will quickly climb to the top this year and next year!
Lakers22 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Actually, 10 pretty good teams. I think South is a little under-apreciated at number 9. I could see a lot of movement in this list, but these 10 plus Grant are probably the players for region 8.
MBKT Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Oldham County will have the best guard play and will play the toughest defense. North Oldham has the region's strongest player in Rowan. Owen County is my "dark horse" to win this region.

gcwildcatfan Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Wow! Gallatin never gets much love. Gotta a feeling that this ranking will be off just a tad.
365 days a year Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Who is SK going to climb over? Last 3 years they have not got past first round of the region. Chambers is a senior so they lose him, and I saw their JV team last year once against Oldham I think and Oldham beat them. Don't think they have as much talent coming as Walton, and being runner up means you get an Oldham school, and possible Collins, Gallatin/Owen every year and that usually means season over as it has in the past. Look for Gallatin and South to be very dangerous by season end, good coaches and young talent. Region is wide open again. The player rankings are a little off in my opinion. Wesley from Oldham should be in top 2, and leaving off the PG from Walton was just silly. Smith from Oldham not ahead of Chambers is a joke, and Jack Sherry not on the list as well from South.
Sixth Man Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Can someone post the player rankings for the 8th?

Lakers22 Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Hargett and McNeil from WV are both top 10 players. Smith from Oldham is most dominant player in the region. Sampson from SK is a quality player as well. I have heard the lightning quick guard from Henry has gone back to his previous school, so Henry may be over rated although they have very good young talent.
Mack The Knife Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 McNeil is the best offensive player in the entire region, IMO.
BGCat Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011  McNeil is the best offensive player in the entire region, IMO.
