Does it tarnish Fox New's points about Republicans or CNN's about Democrats?

No matter which one you watch they are talking about crooks and thieves!

I think, to no surprise, you have missed the point of the comment.

You think? .... You need to realize that both are tarnished!

:ohbrother: What does me realizing that both are tarnished have to do with this thread?

How does that relate whatsoever?

 I like it. You've been taught well.

Self-taught lol

Gallatin co never gets the credit they deserve. They have won more games than anyone in 8th region in the last 6 years and only ranked at number 8. Give them a break already! Can't wait until this season gets underway.

Welcome to the BGP family!!!

Thanks.

Gallatin County will be good again, but they are not as good as teams Coach Jones has had in the past. It helps being in their conference and in the ALL A, they have dominated those teams for the last 6 years and that means 20 wins each year. Gallatin plays some big boys too and has success against them as well. Coach Jones is the one coach in the region that has been with his school for a while and that means alot to the team, and the community. Their guards are solid and that wins games for you come post season.

The people who are knowledgeable about basketball respect GC and the run they've been on.

I think what Coach Jones has done the last 7-8 years has been remarkable. Usually in a small school such as Gallatin Co, you can get a good run of talent that might last 3-4 years, but Jon has done this now for 7-8 years. My question is how long can he keep this going? How are their middle school teams now? Is the talent pool starting to run out?

Let's not forget the Wildcats went 49-12 during the 1997-1998 and 1998-1999 seasons.

You are correct, Mack. That is my point though. Most small schools will have a 2 or 3 year run and then struggle for a couple years and then have another good 3 or 4 years. What coach Jones has been able to do for the last 7 or 8 years has been pretty remarkable. I don't think there is another coach in the region that gets as much out of his players as Coach Jones.

I think coach Duvall gets the most out of his players.

Someone said that Coach Jones was the longest tenured coach in the 8th region. Is the guy from anderson County still there?
