I wasn't posting negatively against your post, just pointing out it would be crazy for the smaller schools to seed and not have a chance to make the regional tournament. I'm sure you would feel different if you were from one of the small schools.

Big schools always want to seed to insure their place in the region, why if you are a little school who likes the payday of a regional apperance, would you want to seed? Until they break it down and split all the money evenly the Bellvues and Villa Madonas of the world would be crazy to seed.

The last I heard coaches scout and watch film on other teams if the players are good enough they make the team which is the case that can be made for Maegley.

How about Walton as an overachiever all the talk pre-season was how bad they would be and they ended up having a decent season. Simon Kenton however according to posters on here was supposed to be the next coming with the great JV team they had the previous year and while they did win their district I don't think it was the kind of year pre-season posters were predicting. Albeit in saying all this they still have the regional tournament to turn things around.

What Regions would Franklin County or Western Hills win? Don't get me wrong the other six particapants are good but don't say all 8, this is hyperbole at it's best.

I agree MR A. that Owen is hungry but I would almost bet that the well traveling Wildcats will have near as many fans. Good wins for both GC and OC tonight.

Walton should win they are the 1 seed and they have a better record than SK, in saying that I think SK wins the rubber match by 8.

They always claim it is the coach's fault when they lose and the players are the reason whenever they win. It is a lot like some of the posters on the Boone Co. threads.

The thing about keeping stats in the stands to me is totally ridiculous. What if everybody does their job and blocks their man out and the one guy who isn't gets the rebound. Do none of his teammates get credit for doing their job. Do you keep stats on the kid who made a good pick to free up Junior for an easy layup or just write down who scored the bucket? There is so much more to basketball than the player the stat is kept on that the ordinary fan doesn't see. I will never keep my childrens stats in the stands I want them to be team players first and put the team ahead of themselves. For those of you who keep stats to ease your nerves why don't you just try an enjoy the game your children don't need the added pressure of knowing Mom or Dad is nervous from them playing in the game. Remember this is highschool basketball and the earth is not going to stop because of the outcome of the game.

I am not 100% sure but to my recollection the Bluegrass Region is a horseshoe that doesn't include Boone.

The players never lose and the coach never wins what a horrible conundrum to be a part of this program where no one can do anything right. I have seen Walton play a couple of games and I do think they have good talent, it just can't always be the coach. I would like to see Walton step up and win their district. I think it would be a great thing, but some of you on here are a cancer to your program and just don't realize it. I know if you have kids involved it becomes more personal for you, but surely you have to realize that in the end your only hurting the players you care about with your constant complaining.
