Close game if W-V can get the tempo in their favor.

W-V by 4. SK can't shoot free throws down the stretch:D

I think this game will be more like the first one. It will be close for a while (maybe even 3 quarters) and then SK will go on a late run to win it by double digits. WV will need to be really hitting shots again and might even need another 30 point game from Payton Ponzer to be able to win this one. I also look for SK to possibly try a little bit of a different defensive strategy. If WV can get the tempo in their favor they can win, but I think the Pioneers will control this one.

SK will win this one by 10.

WV by 6.

Any word about Zach Layne? Did he play, or is he out?

He didn't play in the first game and he was still on crutches the last night. I doubt he'll play but that is just my guess.

WV by 5. Ponzer a career night, 36 points!

SK 68-53.

With Layne out, I think it will hurt Simon. He' got experience in big games and his shooting ability will be needed for SK to pull this one out.

It will be a close game throughout, and will be very interesting. :jump:

Don't you mean to say it will hurt Simon. I think he will be missed but Simon will adjust to make it a close game. I believe Walton will still win by 6.

IMO from what I saw out of SK this year they were a better team with out Layne..

I have seen him a few times the past few years, and I have seen good things from him. I normally see him when Walton play's Simon and that's all, but why would you say that? How does he hurt the team? Curious.
