Not sure, he seemed like one of their better scorers and defenders while he was in last night but this was the first time I have gotten to watch Boone play since Christmas.

Boone subbing too often and for things such as a turnover/missed shot/missed assignment, etc. has happened since Coach McQ has come in and is something I never understood either. It is very hard to get into a rythm that way.

Boone didnt look good and won by 16 in a low scoring game? Did Cov Cath just play flat out awful or what?

No clue but taking a guess coming from you, Covington area and the Tarheels? I watched the game last night, first time seeing him play, a lot of poise for being in 7th grade but I also heard he was 13 or 14 and I was 13 starting my freshman year of basketball so I guess its not too suprising.

The lineup was not the same every game because of the depth of that team but I feel positive saying for most of the time it was McFarland(jr), Rasso (sr),Laboiteaux(sr),Schloemer(sr) and Herron(sr).

I think more than that this just shows its still highschool basketball, kids are not very consistent and when someone has an off night this is what happens. Im willing to bet this won't be the last scare Holmes sees this year, but they did what good teams do and pulled it out.

Also, is this a good win for Boone? How is Perry Co. this year?

What is Boone returning this year to put them in the top 10? By no way am I putting down my former high school, I just didnt think they were returning much this year. Is it just people from below NKY not knowing and putting them up there b/c they usually are amongst the pack at the end of every season?

In the enquirer today it said Cory decided to get an education at the University of Kentucky, very wise decision IMO. Congrats Cory make us proud.

This is absolutely the hardest time of the year to be a high school baseball coach. Until you have been in that position it is really hard to criticize someone else.
