Boone had a nice run in 5th/3rd losing only in OT to Trinity.

 

I think they will be a tough game for any team in the 9th!

Good job by Boone. I like the Rebels' team this year. Not dominating inside but good all around play. They will not lose many games this year.

They have a chance to get in that range. Don't quite have the same inside power that could keep them a little lower in the 20s. They will be a 20+win team.

They already got two loses so that part is proabley safe for the 04 team you mention.

Wow I was not up here in 04 to see that team play, but I know who 4 of the 5 are, and that must have been one heck of a team to watch.

I think Boone will finish better than last year's 21-8 record, but could have at least 5 losses. The 2004 team had 5 seniors starting if I'm not mistaken. Boone starts 3 or 4 juniors. Boone has a tough schedule this year, which is a good thing. Record doesn't mean anything. We'll see how Boone can do in the tournaments this year. They started 12-2 last year with a much weaker schedule, before faltering in the the second half of the season. I don't think you will see that type of collapse this year, but they still have a lot of tough games left.

The lineup was not the same every game because of the depth of that team but I feel positive saying for most of the time it was McFarland(jr), Rasso (sr),Laboiteaux(sr),Schloemer(sr) and Herron(sr).

Correct. That team I believe, lost to Covcath in the region championship that year. Beat Highlands in the semi's and then ran in to a loaded CCH team led by Votel brothers, Nestheide, Muck, and Erpenbeck.
