Final. A good game but WV just couldn't pull it out. They had too many turnovers and didn't rebound well. Walton outscored NO from the field but the difference was from the foul line. I believe that NO shot 33 free throws compared to WV's 7. IMO the officiating was not good and it appeared to go NO's way. Maybe the 8th should have switched with another region. However, that did not beat WV, their lack of execution and rebounding did. Congrats to the Bearcats and good luck to NO against Gallatin.

I think the reason they don't, is that nobody wants the 8th region officials coming to their region! Besides, some coaches hate playing a game like this in front of officials that are seeing them for the first time. Sort of a double edged sword.
