This is not a huge shock because on any night in the NCKC any of these teams are capable of beating the other.

Yes they did but who knows what is going to happen the best team didn't win it last year. You can't count any of the 8th region teams out any one of them could win it if they get hot at the right time. I do agree though that OC and GC are the best two teams in the all A.

The times I've been there they stand and do skits chant for players and so on. Last night I will give you they were pretty subdued but from what I saw that included everyone except for a small group I could see from my seat in the middle of GC's crowd.

I don't know what you are talking about here the band doesn't show up for many of the boys games either. As far as it being all about the boys I think that is a very unfair criticism when both teams are treated equally and at all the games I've been to the boys team is there supporting the girls. I also don't think that it is fair for adults to get on here and criticize other players by name. If it was my kid I would have a big problem with this.

Don't be too hard on madman as a casual fan who has consistently said he is a fan of high school basketball and doesn't root for any one team on these many WV post. He was just making an observation that many of us were wondering.

Owen should be considered a favorite because of the size difference but remember it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog and from what I have seen this year Gallatin Co. has plenty of fight.

I bet Marion Co. had more than one of there top 7 score. When you do things like this they tend to come back and bite you. I am not in the know on Ryle Girls B-ball when is the last time they went to the region? Do they beat teams like this on a regular basis? Who are the many D-1 prospects? With this many good players I would think that Ryle should be a contender for the State Title are they?

Is there a JV state? If there is I bet sk would be ranked pretty high with only one loss!

DC Craig was huge in this game and helped the Panthers stay in the game. It was as always between these two schools a tight well fought game.

Did that make Gallatin 2-1 in this tournament? Do you have any stats?

I have seen some poor officiated games in my day and I would like to say that some refs do a good job but what you guys have to remember is they are paid to do a job. If I do my job bad I get fired. if a ref does his job bad he hears it from the fans. It comes with the territory. Some people in the stands may be idiots, but to classify all parents as idiots is going a little too far. It sounds like you have heard it from a few parents hoopitup25. I do agree with you that some of the stuff people yell from the stands is idiotic but as I said earlier to call all parents idiots is a little offensive to the parents who come to watch their kids play and don't say a thing.

How close are you to the program that you can say that there are not too many compliments. Does your daughter play are you in the locker room what is your supposed connection that you can make this statement? I find it hard to believe that someone has the audacity to make accusations that have no foundation. He has not been a big scorer this year but he is the most unselfish kid on this team. They need him to be successful.

Everybody gets up to play GC this will be a big game for Henry.

Henry has always given GC fits I think this game is determined by how hard both teams play. If GC plays hard they should win this game on their homecourt.

Before Coach Code arrived at CC the program was in shambles and he has brought it back to a level of respectability. I am not bashing you because I feel that everyone has a right to express their thoughts but I pointed out some of these things because to me they didn't make a lot of sense.

I saw Owen play this summer and an inspired Eminence team should have beaten them. The key was the zone Owen's gaurds couldn't throw it in the ocean and had several turnovers. I also heard there is a chance that Shelton could be out for the year with foot problems.
