Gallatin is struggling right now. Anyone know what is going on. Will the girl that is hurt help them, and is she going to return this year?

Gallatin is a young team this year starting 3 juniors, a freshman and an 8th grader. 2 of their 3 losses was by 7 points or less. Emily Jones who is out with a knee injury will be returning after Christmas and will be a key player in Gallatins success.

Their defense needs to improve a lot if they want to have a successful season and a chance to win the All A. They have a great draw to get to the finals and you never know what may happen when you get there. They can't afford to get down big and assume they will come back to win the game. They were down as many as 15in the fourth quarter. Cut it to 5 with 2 minutes to go but couldn't get any closer. Give Henry credit. They are a gritty team who gets after it on defense and rebounding. Congrats to Coach Gilley and his 300th win.

Maybe you should tell it since you seem to know it all. Why try to cause trouble when trouble isn't there? Weren't you the one telling others that these kind of things destroy teams?

If they aren't working hard enough, maybe the coach should get on their case more often:D Honestly, i have already spelled it out. They will be fine as long as they stay healthy. Something doesn't have to be "going on", as you put it.

I think it has to do to the fact that they do not have that many girls to choose from. The subs have not seen that much if any varsity time. I told my daughter it might be a so-so year, it is the same as it was when they were in the 7th grade. They really didn't have a 8th grade team that year and they all had to play up. I guess it is deja vu!

These girls were twice by 10 to Ludlow and came back to win. Down by 12 to W-town and came back to win. Just fell short last night.

When you lose 3 seniors that are a large part of the scoring it takes the team a while to adjust. Just as they were making the transition a player got hurt. GC will improve as the year goes on. These early loses may turn into wins at the end of the year.

My thoughts are you need quit worrying about the coach, she did win the All A last year and won a game at the All A state. You can't even hear the coach in the stands. Obviously you know nothing about the program, Emily Jones is an impact player. The team has lost 4 starters, 3 to graduation, 1 to injury.

No, it just makes me mad when someone criticizes a coach after they have won some kind of title whether it is a district, All A Region, or Regional title. I hear about it all the time and I just get tired of it. People seem to forget things really quick when things aren't "going" the way they think it should.
