  1. This will be Owens best chance to make it far for years to come. If the guards can learn to handle pressure they will be a dangerous team. Owen has had several players developing over the summer through AAU. Who knows, it might be their year.
  2. 6'8 6'6 6'5 but still big though. Owen has been plagued by injuries this season. Several players have played injured.
  3. Owens bigs still dominated the glass, My guess would be doubling the rebounds of Walton. Burns was ineffective and I don't even know if he scored
  4. The only reason I am opening this thread is to find the specific details of the game. Someone PLEASE share what happened.:idunno:
  5. Got a text. someone post score
  6. Got a txt... please post score
  7. I recall this last statement. You cannot put a lose on 2 players. Henry played well and deserved a win.
  8. Yes, I mean if a coach can't exploit a simple box and chaser its gonna be a long year.
  9. Yes, Henry came in with a game plan and executed it well.
  10. Hard for big men to do anything when they don't have the ball. The guards took unreasonable 3's which lead to long rebounds. Common sense says if the bigs are boxed out their is nothing they can do.
  11. They don't know what to do against a SIMPLE! box and chaser.
  12. Simply put. Owen's PG and SG were terrible! Thats all that need be said.
  13. Great win for the Rebels. 4-0 in the NCKC and 2-0 in the 31st district Go Rebels!:dancingpa
  14. MOJO52 maybe those long trips from Lexington are wearing you down. LOL!
  15. After the half Owen just dominated the game. They controlled the paint.
  16. I was simply saying that Gayheart was a major part to Owen's win, but yes most certainly it was a team effort.
  17. Good to see Carroll making improvements in the right direction. Great to see a team get a come from behind victory right after a tough loss the night before.
  18. When Gayheart guarded Devine, Devine only had 3 points and those points were a desperation 3. Holding happens ALL the time on the court both teams and players do it and get away with it. So Gayheart having nearly half Owens points and being a major part of containing Devine was not a major reason to Owens victory?!:idunno: How to you figure that?
  19. Excuses..... A win is a win. If the team played bad it is usally do to the fact that the other team is better and shutting them down. Ex. Rianna Gayheart guarded Devine and Devine could do nothing.
  20. Well. From what I saw Carrol cannot come close to matching Owen's Speed and there high level of defensive tenasity
  21. Did Carrol seem slow and tired or was it the undeniable fact that Owen was just that much quicker? :sssh:
