Whats happening in Owen County?

Shocker!!! Congrats to Todd Gilley and the Lady Cats! I'm sure Owen County will be fine - but this is a tremendous win for Henry and a sure sign that Gilley is back to working his magic...

They don't know what to do against a SIMPLE! box and chaser.

Henry should have beaten Carroll co and they would be 3-0 in district play. But great game tonight for HC. Gilley has had a great year so far.

From what I saw, it looks like Henry was mostly playing a man to man defense. Gilley is a master at disguising his different defenses however. Gayheart was in foul trouble most of the game. Henry is much improved and really plays good together.

It was a box and chaser, for some strange reason Owen placed their other 4 players next to the Henry defenders. There was no use of the short corner, There were no movement or screens for Gayheart.

Exactly! They are a nice group of girls and have played together a long time and deserve some wins this year! Gilley is always entertaining to watch Coach.!

You may be right, but that game could've gone either way, and it just so happened that CC got the W. It was a great game! Cant wait for the game in CC.

Todd Gilley has to be one of the most under-rated coaches in the 8th. Great guy, great approach to life/basketball. Regardless of how well Henry does the rest of the year, his girls will learn a lot.
