I despise the cast of KSR, but the news and tidbits they provide during Football and Basketball season is valuable. But yes, I do find him extremely arrogant.

Both of these teams have a good amount of talent, so this one can really go either way. If you see the Barren County team that played Glasgow last week, then I believe they will win by a TD or less. Other than that, I see a Green County victory by the same margin. This will be a great matchup!

All due respect to ACS, but this one should be running clock by halftime in favor of Paducah Tilghman.

I can't speak for Adair County, but Glasgow has a strong running game and a decent passing game if their receivers are on point. Their pass defense could be in trouble if Adair's QB is able to go off. This game should be a good gauge to see where the district is likely to sit at the end of the year. I suspect Franklin Simpson will come out on top, but Adair playing them close kind of put them on my radar up there with Glasgow and Hart.

Glasgow's play was rather sloppy. Penalties, a bunch of dropped passes and some off target throws hindered their offense. Basically a complete opposite from the Allen County-Scottsville game. You'll have those from time to time. Glasgow also has real issue with pass defense, and sealing off the edges. Barren County isn't a terrible team, plus throw in the rivalry factor (this was the first Glasgow/Barren game since 2016), so you had the perfect storm for a classic. Glasgow will be fine if they can stay consistent on offense and not let Wide Receivers get open 30 yards in the backfield. District play should be rather competitive and fun to watch.

You can tell how bad this team wanted it from the emotion they are showing. It's a tough task to go back to back and these boys should hold their head proud that they can call themselves champions. They sure are tough! I wish them the absolute best in the future!

The maturity and discipline of this team is unreal for a group of high school kids. I had the privilege to watch them during the 4th region tournament and this group was simply having fun and getting the job done. No trash talk, no showboating, nothing. I'm very happy for this team!

While Twitter and Reddit aren't great sources of information, it appears things are looking grim. Hope Coach Leach can make the miraculous recovery because he's an absolute treasure in the College Football world. Hoping and praying for the best!

Excellent win by the Shamrocks! With respect to out of state teams, I absolutely love seeing a KY team get the victory in these types of games!

I'm not up to date and I wasn't aware Unseld was out. This was an impressive win regardless, but with Unseld out in this one, the Dragons have to really feel confident!

This was one of those games that you just love to watch. Anyone's ball game until the very end! A treat for this to have happened at Barren County High!

Impressive win by the Indians! I'm ignorant to the current rosters for both teams. Is Adair County looking at a special season coming up, or is Boyle County missing some players due to Football or perhaps lost quite a bit from last seasons team?

My first reaction as well. I don't mind neutral game sites, but the idea of the Cats going to Cameron Indoor Stadium and Duke visiting Rupp carries a heavier weight with me. Same with the Cats visiting Allen Fieldhouse as in the Big 12/SEC challenge. I'm looking forward to the challenge!

I'll take the "upset" in this one and go with Bowling Green. I only put upset in quotations because it's hard to fathom Bowling Green being an underdog in any football environment. There is no doubt FD has been the stronger team throughout the season and played some really tough teams in the playoffs. Bowling Green seems to have picked up wind and appears to be peaking at the right moment. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see FD win this one running away, but my gut is telling me to pick BG in a tightly contested game.

I'll admit that I don't know much about CAL other than their perfect record and ability to bully their opponents on the field. I'd like to see Bardstown pull this one out and even voted for them in the poll. But all signs seem to point towards CAL coming out victorious.

I think it would be a story book ending for Mayfield to walk away with the championship this year. However, I think this Beechwood team is just too powerful. In an action packed weekend, I believe this will be the marquee game. I'll take Beechwood in this one by a TD or two. Regardless of the outcome, both teams have had a tremendous year and represent why so many love HS football in Kentucky.

If Central could've smothered EC as they did Holmes I'd say they probably would've won by a few points. Central played Holmes better then EC did, but you have to factor in the fact that Holmes just played a tough game just a few hours before. A fresh Central vs. a fresh Elliott Co... I'd probably say Elliott County comes out on top.
