This Friday night the Dragons make the drive over to Barren County to take on the Trojans. 
 

Barren comes in to this game off a tough double overtime loss to Glasgow, in a game few saw being as close as it was. Barren also had a rough showing to Monroe County the week prior, in a game I figured they would have won.

Barren does have some good speed and a very solid QB, and a solid offensive line. So don’t overlook them.
 

The Dragons come in off a very solid showing against Larue County, in a game the Dragons dominated aside from the first 25 seconds. The Dragons had constant pressure on the QB and really played well offensively aside from a few turnovers. This should be a tough game for the Dragons. 

 I expect this game to be a battle from the kickoff. Give me the Dragons in a tight one, 28-21. 

 

 

I feel as Green continues there momentum. Green Has looked better each week offensively and defensively. The due ground attack of McKinney and Seymour is what they should have started with. Let the Senior Class lead the way. Hodges keeps gaining confidence. I look for him having another good game. Let Barren load the box and he will punish you with his amazing arm. 

 

Barren is much better this year. There Qb is a duel threat QB leading the team in rushing and scoring. He does have 1 passing TD on the year. Barren hasn't allowed many rushing yards. Key is gonna be if they can stop the 1 2 punch of Green, and still defend the pass. 

 

Give me Green by 2 TD

Both of these teams have a good amount of talent, so this one can really go either way.  If you see the Barren County team that played Glasgow last week, then I believe they will win by a TD or less.  Other than that, I see a Green County victory by the same margin.  This will be a great matchup!

If Green can contain Tate Spielman they should be ok but he is a talented kid.

This is going to be a very very good game Friday night. I'm leaning towards Green but I think itll be tight until the end. Give me Green 27-21

In a week of dud games across the state this one will be one of the better ones.  Give me Green County
