  1. 1. Notre Dame 2. St Henry 3. Ryle 4. NCC 5. Boone Cty 6. Simon Kenton 7. Campbell Cty 8. Beechwood 9. Highlands 10. Brossart Just can't include Conner at this time since they have lost some I think they should have won and apparently have an injury or two to some key players..
  2. Having seen Newport play against Ludlow and winning only 13-6 and only beating Dayton 13-0 I have a hard time believing the Wildcats are a Top 10 team unless Class 2A is just that bad..This team is a far cry from last years team.
  3. CovCath will handle the Beechies with relative ease. CCH 34-Beechies-10
  4. Going to be a close game. Expect a lot of hard hits and not a lot of offense. I do expect though that Ludlow's defense will win a close one for them.
  5. Cory Gilbert had 141 rushing yards on 13 carries and a touchdown
  6. Didn't really get playing time vs. Carroll County.. Will probably see some time as a runningback in the future. He has great speed, but I think he still needs to develop a little bit further.
  7. Not trying to start anything, just simply saying that Borchers is very good at game planning his defense, therefore I think Ludlow takes this one.. Best of luck to both teams!
  8. It doesnt matter how complicated Carroll Countys offense is, with the defensive mind Coach Borchers has he has game planned every formation Carroll County will run.. I take the Panthers of Ludlow in this one
  9. He must have learned that from his big brother, Zach Hein!
  10. You're making a huge deal out of nothing.. If he wants to verbal its his choice... I say get over it..
  11. 6 fumble recoveries and 2 huge picks.. Hes got a nose for the ball
  12. I'm just stating the obvious.. If he does get stopped, I'll call it a fluke.:flame: :dancingpa :thumb:
  13. He won't be able to contain Cory Gilbert or Aaron Duncan of Ludlow.
  14. This kid has all kinds of raw athletic abilty. I highly doubt that when he rushes the quarterback any offensive lineman will be able to stop him. He will put a pop on any receiver that goes across the middle and and has perfect form when he tackles. While he is roaming the field, i'll be suprised if the opposing team runs the ball to his side of the field. I look for him to have a huge season for Ludlow and dominate the All Star game when he plays in that.:thumb:
  15. Me and Kyle played football together at Ludlow and I got to go against him in practice all the time. Amazing athelete with just a pure knack to know where the ball is going to end up. I say he will match 9 or get more picks. As for size, I would say Kyle is actually around 6'0 and 170-175. Should have another great season as a reciever and as a corner for Ludlow!
  16. The west didnt start really throwing the ball until the 4th quarter. Pretty sad too because the recievers were wide open in the deep flats but by the time the coaches realized that, the game was out of hand.
  17. You bring up a good point. Plus you never know when a lesser known player from a smaller school steps up his game and takes it to kids from the bigger schools. Example would be Scott Miller the WR from Ludlow last year. Had a great game and he's from a small school. Whoever plays with more heart and intensity could easily take this game.
  18. West has a lot of size on the line.. Let's hope that can protect their QB so they can throw the ball some.. West doesn't have a lot of WR on the team.. I think there is 4.. Both Ludlow WR were missing from practice today, but one of them fell ill. Not sure about the other one.
  19. Buddy Lunsford of Ludlow could very well be a sleeper. Played a little bit of WR last year but was mainly a safety/corner for the panthers. This year, rumors are he could be moved to QB to take over for Chase King. Buddy has a great arm, but his main problem may be his size. I think hes 5 ft. 8 in. so he may have some trouble seeing over the Panthers O-line, especially with some decent sized kids returning for the panthers!
  20. Any clue on who could be the starters for the teams?
