  1. :thumb: I definitely agree because if she doesn't Nell doesn't play favorites and Katie will find herself sitting on the bench along side of her and leaving those around her trying to figure out what school to move her to next.
  2. Noticed BigZig congratulating ZX3 after the Beechies had beat the Panthers yesterday out at Beechwood. Just a sign that everything on here is said in fun and things shouldn't be taken so personally..Congrats to the Tigers..
  3. BZ's knowledge of this situation and a great many other situations is what got under a great many peoples skin..
  4. My sources tell me InDaZone has alot of info on this situation (albeit somewhat slanted). Maybe he could give us all some sort of an update..
  5. No disrespect btownguy but your Tigers had all but quit when the Panthers were moving towards a game clinching scoring drive. A fumble happened and you guys got the ball and to your teams credit they moved the ball all the way down to the 1 yd line. To the Panthers credit they held and it was a testament to the Panthers ability to hold when the pressure was on in a hostile environment and a sign of Bellevues lack of ability to move the ball at all after the 1st Qtr. Personally I still question the Bellevue play calling there at the end but sum it up any way you wish. It still comes out that the Panthers WIN!!!! See you next year.
  6. Sorry Tiger fans but this one just isn't going to be close at all. HC will roll big in this one.
  7. Sloppy play by NewCath that led to an HC victory.. On a different night NCC wins big.. Bellevue Wins this one not by defense but by running the ball.. Defense isnt that great.. Gave up 442 yards against Ludlow
  8. Ok wolf19 i wish we could stop talkin about this but for the record the jv won prior to the varsity winning and i said Bellevue wont win again.. So i guess the jv game is gonna be Bellevues last win over the panthers for at least another year.. Bragging rights for the panthers for the next year woo hoo.. But sorry the panthers spoiled the party.. Heres a little party for you tiger fans that the panthers wont spoil for you..:dancingpa
  9. In years past and under different leadership the Tigers have pretty much folded up their season after another loss to Ludlow. Here's hoping that Coach Eckstein can keep them in a positive mindset after last weeks loss and what appears to be another loss in the making against Holy Cross.
  10. What exactly are Brossarts enrollment numbers.. I would imagine that in just a few years they would be very close to being a 2A school. If that were the case getting their football program up to respectablility might be even more difficult after the changes are made to a 6 Class System in Ky. (Ridiculous move by the KHSAA IMO)
  11. I would expect the 1-4 NCC team to get a whole lot better against the 4-1 Greendevils..I will say somewhere in the neighborhood of 48-7 in favor of NCC.
  12. :thumb: Well said and very very true...:ylsuper: Oh and where was the fabulous Jimmy D running around with one of his shirts or hats saying something like we beat the Panthers again. Everytime he prints up one of those googy hats or shirts it is usually money in the bank for a Panther victory..
  13. Noticed the Wells girl from Conner at the Championship game on crutches and in a knee brace.. Was told she possibly tore her ACL. Here's hoping for a quick recovery.
  14. 1. HHS 2. CCH 3. Ryle 4. Boone Cty 5. Simon Kenton 6. Beechwood 7. Campbell Cty 8. Dixie 9. Holmes 10. Newport
  15. In years past the Tigers have pretty much shut it down after a loss to the Panthers. Here's hoping they don't do near the amount of  ing as some of their fans and are able to come back from this defeat and have a respectable year..Face it Bellevue fans nothing gets your goat more then a loss to Ludlow and for the 3rd time in 4 years you have had to make excuses. Maybe the next time you decide to have a week long celebration and festivities you might consider scheduling a team you are sure to beat. As for Coach Eckstein I'm sure he is a fine coach but he has been portrayed as some sort of football genius and I agree he has done OK where he has been but exactly what has he done to garner such a tremendous amount of accolades from everyone.. I mean he walked into a goldmine last year and he is to be commended but I'm not so sure most coaches could not have coached that talented group.
  16. Dont worry BHS tiger because Bellevue wont beat Ludlow again. Bellevue is going to be hurting for the next couple of years..
  17. The Scott Tournament played on Saturday Sept.16th was won by Conner as they were able to avenge an earlier loss in the day to the Ludlow Panthers in pool play. Conner beat Ludlow in the final 29-27 and 25-18. Congratulations to both teams as they played 2 very exciting matches on Saturday.
  18. With all due respect gryche11 but only watching a Qtr and a half really doesn't tell the tale of this game at all. Ludlow dominated this game both on the ground and thru the air and the final stats tell the tale. To Bellevues credit they did have a chance to score because of a late Panther fumble as they were driving down the field and didn't get it in because of a great goal line stand by the Panthers. The Panthers also had 3 opportunities inside the 10 yd line that they weren't able to turn into points. Sitting up near the top where there were some coaches from Beechwood, Holy Cross and Dayton scouting both teams and they all agreed that Ludlow was clearly the better team and should have won this contest going away.. To Bellevues credit the Panthers did not but it was a great win for the Panthers and one they clearly deserved. Anyone that saw the entire game would definitely realize that.
  19. Thought it was an excellent game and I agree with futurecoach a game that was pretty much dominated by the Panthers especially in the 2nd half. Had Ludlow not fumbled late in the game to actually give Bellevue their last opportunity to go ahead and if Ludlow had a FG kicker they were confident in then Ludlow wins this game by double digits. From the 2nd qtr on the Tigers seemed to have a little or no offense particularily after #4 (runningback, can't remember name) went out of the game with some type of knee injury. Good Win for the Panthers and a win that keeps them in race for the Playoffs.
  20. Great game played by the Panthers tonight..and a tremendous goal line stand in the last minute of the game to clinch the victory and ruin the Bellevue Tigers Homecoming and Stadium Reunion Celebration. Excellent game turned in by QB Jared Rouse, Cory Gilbert, Braden Mills, Kyle York and Paul McGlasson as well as the entire Ludlow team. Ludlow has now beat Bellevue 3 out of the last 4 years. Congratulations to Coach Borchers and his staff as well. Saw my friend BigZig at the game and he wished to thank the Bellevue community for the Fireworks show after the game. He said it was the 1st time he had been to an opposing teams field where they lost and celebrated the other teams victory with that type of show..
  21. I expect this to really be a running game. Expect Bellevue to get a taste of big Aaron Duncan with Gilbert and Rouse running on his side of the line. I stick with my earlier prediction.
  22. Ludlow did miss out on the playoffs last year but had made it the prior 2 years and a number of Ludlows starters now were a part of that experience and are hungry to taste that playoff feeling again. Ludlow 21 Bellevue 20
