Who would you rank as top RB's of alltime by class. Some answers will show some of your ages....so here goes.

Class A

Mike and Jon Sutkamp Bellevue

Jason Skirvin- Dayton

Scott Tackett- Beechwood

Red Dog Daugherty- Bellevue .....

Class 4A

Alexander obviously.

John Ransdell- Boone Co.

Class 3A

Marty Moore- HHS

Mike Woolf- Cov Cath

Im sure I am missing several but these are a few that come to mind.

Jim Lokesak (sp) from Ludlow.

George "The Bowling Ball" Duvall (Conner)

1993 2615 yards in 13 games

Leading rusher in NKY in 1993 (Yes--that is more than Alexander as a junior)

Conner was still AAA at the time.

3A Justin Frisk

Mark Pike and Chris Derry from Dixie were a great backfield.

CCH and HHS have had quite a few great backfields and I would hate to choose which was the best, though everybody knows my favorite CCH running back was Rick Hornsby ;).

NewCath sent Ed Ziegler to Notre Dame after claiming a 2nd place finish in the GCL during the '65 season, if I remember correctly. I would say that that qualifies him as top 10 in NKY all-time.

Derry was very tough.

Tough call but I think I still will take Melvin Miles as the best back out of CSHS.

Going back a ways, but Larry Schreiber was unstoppable for Dixie in the 60's. Played 10+ years in the NFL for the 49er's and Bears!!
