Ludlow is sending Chase King (if he can play due to wrist surgery), Nick Papas, Mark Csolkovits, Michael Goodpaster, and Derrick Trenkamp (sp.).
Sandman32 Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Its usually the first Thursday in June. This year it is the 7th or the 8th, whichever day is a Thursday that is. The kids were selected prior to spring break, and were to turn in their packets when the kids came back to school. I'm sure we'll find out who is doing what fairly soon.
futurecoach Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Ludlow is sending Chase King (if he can play due to wrist surgery), Nick Papas, Mark Csolkovits, Michael Goodpaster, and Derrick Trenkamp (sp.). Congrats to all the Ludlow players, I am surprised to hear that Ludlow got 5 players to go still this year, but they all are deserving and I know they will represent the Ludlow well!!!
Champs05 Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 does anybody know the rosters?? i heard cov cath will be sending zach spradlin, brett sutton, mike hudson, sean mcgee, and drew ellison was asked but declined the offer. 3rd team all state kicker Tony Roch was not invited,... does anyone know who will be kicking?
Panther8404 Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Don't the teams coaches decide who gets nominated from their own team?
NHS BIG DADDY Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Im guessing that each schools coach is told to pick a certain amount to send with some schools getting more than others but Im just guessing here. Prolly not even close.

The initial kids selected are chosen by their own coach I do believe. However, some teams do not fill their allotted list with graduating seniors. Then the coach of the all stars team and/or the coaches for the teams reprsented will select additional players on a needs basis. The HC's work pretty closely to select who they feel should be on the team.
sportsfan41 Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Thursday is good, 1 of 3 days of the week I don't have to work.

Sandman32 Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Wouldn't the 8th make it the second Thursday of the month. Yeah. Graduation is a little later than usual this year. Most schools are having there graduation the prior week. For instance Dixie is having it's graduation on the 1st, so I guess it's our fault in a way that it will be the second Thursday and not the first.
Sandman32 Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 FYI - Coach Schlarman and the boys will be practicing for the game at Highlands.
Qryche11 Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Is the game being played at Boone Co? I havent been in years and I remember it being played there.
