Interesting that this seems to be a bigger issue at Highlands than it does at Scott.

Scott's game Friday night vs SK didn't end until after 11pm. They had to come back to play CC at 4pm the very next day. They were also missing two of their top six in Hagfors & Jones. Excuses are like...you know the rest.

I think my favorite was when they called a block and a charge on the same play.

GRC shot 40 free throws, Scott shot 16...and two of those were a tech on Stenzel for hanging on the rim. To say that the officiating was bad both ways, well...I guess that depends on who you were rooting for.

Disappointed in Wright's interview on the internet feed...he could have at least given Scott some credit. Also heard he didn't shake Carr's hand afterward...thought he was better than that.

Great win for Scott. Especially when you consider a lot of their kids were down with the flu bug this week.

If transportation costs that much, and I have no reason to doubt that it doesn't, isn't that even more of a reason to rotate the tournament around to all corners of the region? Why should other schools have to pay up to $1,000 in transportation costs while Mason Co. pays zip?

I know more coaches than most people, and I don't think it does.

Regardless of what you comapre it to, I don't think making a public spectacle of one's self is ever a good thing. Also, I don't know of many coaches that allow parents in the gym during practices. At least not on the varsity level.

I have seen the way some of the parents act at games. Believe me, they are far from being good role models.

If Scott's guards don't protect the basketball, it could be a looong night.
