I guess someone should have told Simon Kenton & NewCath that Scott is worn down.

Apples & oranges, once a year is plenty.

Kenton Co. administrators have mandated that all three county schools play each other twice each seaon. Which, in my opinion, is overkill.

Neither one, really. Simply put, anyone who thinks Dixie is better than Scott is ignoring the fact that Scott has beaten them twice.

Spin it however you want, but a double-double against a team of Highlands' caliber is impressive.

Howard lead Scott in scoring & rebounding with 12 & 11 respectively. Also had a couple of nice blocks. I'd say he was a factor, but that's just my opinion.

You should give the Eagles a little credit. They had it cut to 4 points midway through the 4th quarter. Vories is tough, that cross-over is lethal.

Does it really matter? :confused: They won 9 games last year, I'd say they're headed in the right direction.

Sharp & Whitehead sat out for the Eagles. Foul trouble for Howard in the 3rd. Camels let lead slip away in the 4th but hold on for the "W".

In the other thread you said they were starting guards. Not terribly hard to figure it out now is it?

I found this interesting little nugget on the BGP scoreboard page: As of 1/24/06 Scott leads the 10th region with 1176 pts scored. (Pendleton Co. is 2nd with 1161). On the other hand, Scott is 2nd to last in in total points allowed with 1049. (Augusta is last with 1074) Link Your honor, the defense rests. :fire:

Howard kicked it back out to Whitehead in the first half for 2 three-pointers and he hit Quigley twice on a couple of nice cuts to the basket. That's 4 times just off the top head right there. He really shouldn't be giving it up too much more than that because he gets to the free throw liine so well.

As long as the players show enough heart and toughness, this is true 99.9% of the time.

They pressed in both games. In fact, they pressed almost the entire second half against Brossart.

Scott shouldn't be pressing nearly as much as they do right now. They lack the team speed and depth to do it efficiently. Offensively, when the ball goes in to Howard, he does a nice job of passing out of the double and triple teams he's been seeing as of late. Getting the perimeter players to remain active and not spectate is the main issue here.
