Just interested to hear comments on this category... b/t scott sk dixie and holy cross how would any of you rank these teams .. IMO i would say 1-scott 2-dixie 3-simon kenton 4-holy cross .. this could mix up because they're all evenly matched

Scott has beaten Dixie twice this year and has split with SK. No way they are last.

Hard to rank these four IMO.

 

Scott: (3-1) 1-1 vs SK, 6 point loss @SK and a 1 point win at home. 2-0 vs Dixie, 15 point win and a 1 point OT win. They play HC on Tuesday.

 

Dixie: (1-3) 1-0 vs SK, 5 point win w/out Lawson but SK imploded down the stretch leading most of the game by double digits. They play again @SK on Friday. 0-2 vs Scott, I believe the 15 point loss came w/out Lawson and a two point loss at home to

 

HC (3-0) 1-0 vs SK winning by 7 at home, close game could have went either way. 1-0 vs Scott and 1-0 vs Dixie

 

SK (1-3) All winnable games but all losses on the road.

 

I guess the swing game will be Tuesday night when HC travels down Taylor Mill Road.

 

I say after it's all said and done, it will be HC (4-0) Scott (3-2) SK (2-3) and Dixie (1-4)

ACtually scott and HC havent played yet and IMO scott will win that

I'll stand behind my picks. HC is the best of the bunch and has shown that to be the case throughout the ENTIRE season. Dixie's body of work would make them 2nd.

 

Scott has been inconsistent at best.

I say Holy Cross, Simon Kenton , Scott, Dixie.

 

All of SK"s losses were on the road. SK also has been down one starter in all of these games, Seth Blevins. SK has only been out of three games all year Holmes at Holmes, Christian County at the AIT, Louisville Male in the Toyota Classic.

 

IMO Sk wins the Dixie game and the Holy Cross and Scott game with Seth.

 

With all of this being said it is starting to look like next year will be SK.s year as they are a Junior dominated team this season.

 

I look for the game this Friday at the "Joe" to be a indication of how they will fare in the post season, their 1st in the 8th region. :thumb:

It seems like SK plays to the talent of the opposing team alot.

You should be a carpenter, you hit the nail on it's head. They usually beat the teams they should and except for a few games play right with the better teams. What worries me is they really only have one big win and that was over Station in the AIT. If Blevins can come back healthy they could make a nice run in the post season but overall they haven't put together many solid games of 32 minutes. I will be dissapointed if they don't win against Dixie, they have a nice size advantage over the Colonels and should have won the first meeting.

If you are ranking based on how far these teams can possibly go in the tournament, I would have to say:

1) Dixie - Easiest district with best chance of these teams to win their tournament.

2) Simon Kenton - All it takes is beating Shelby County. That's a big "all", though.

3) Holy Cross - Tough matchup with Cov Cath, but could make noise in the tournament if they beat the Blue Colonels.

4) Scott - No chance to win their tournament with GRC and Pendleton in there. Sorry.
