Are all of the games still played at CovCath???

How is this the 9th Region Freshmen Tournament, Simon Kenton is in the 8th region for the last 2 years.

This tournament is still held at Covington Catholic and the director, Jack Kaelin, is now in his 35th year of running the tournament. Simply incredible.

Beechwood made it to semifinals 2 years ago after beating NCC and St. Henry... I would call that competing.

I guess we should be asking that same question about Bellevue, Ludlow, Silver Grove, etc.

Beechwood decided to move up to the large school frosh tourney a few years back and have done a decent job. I too would like to know why Boone isn't in it.

Holy Cross lost to Holmes Saturday in the first round...

 

St. Henry lost to NCC Saturday in the first round...
